Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

This afternoon my car read that it was 112 and the banks sign read 110 so it was some where around there. Played golf early this morning and around 10am it was very hot and its a good thing we were done by 11. Some guys were teeing off then and they had to burn up. It to hot to even sit out side and drink beer or anything for that matter.

Re: Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

I'm staying inside. 5 days a week I have to work in my warehouse that's always 10 degrees hotter than it is outside and it's been at least 100 degrees since wednesday. So I'm stayin cool this weekend because it's too hot even at night to really want to do anything outside.

That sucks. When its 70 out I hat working inside but when it hot like this or very cold I don't mind it at all. Drink lots of water and if you feel week or light headed take a break.

Re: Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

What an awful day it was. So gross outside. Downright oppressive. That's as hot as I can ever remember it feeling in the DC area. I had on ESPN 980 at one point, and they said the heat index was 113. WTF.

Decided to do some much needed yard week the past two days...not the best decision. I got it done but I am friggin' tapped out.

I don't think it's going to get better.

Re: Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

I went to pull the boat out of the water around 10:30 to clean it up to take on vacation and it was all ready 94. The boat ramps I use are in this nice park and when leaving I saw 4 big groups setting up to have a cook out. Those people are going to fry out in this heat today.

To keep that in perspective those are the hottest months by less then 1/2 degree and in many case no more then .10% hotter.

Re: Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

it was one day last week that Winchester, VA, had its hottest ever day since temps began being recorded in like 1929.

It was like 112 or something....absolutley brutal. with no end in sight for weeks, possibly months.

Re: Global Warming My Ass Its Hot

I attended the Dave Matthews Band concert at National's Park on Friday, and as great as the show was, it was a relief when it ended so we could get out of the heat/humidity. As dehydrated as I was, I can't imagine how many of the young folks drinking heavily made it through the show.

If I were to put a one centimeter hole in your boat and expand it by another centimeter every year what will your prospective be twenty years down the road when you discover it has an 8 inch hole?
