My home.
I like to travel but the feeling I have the first night back in my own bed usually Trumps the vacation.

Charleston, Savannah and Key West. Three great towns, and I want to go back to each of them for different reasons.

New Orleans, hands down, but it helps that I lived there for a while so I know where to go/what I like to do.

Re: Favorite Places You Have Visited
Unfortunately I didn't get to stay at some of these places long enough or I was too young to really enjoy them, but these were my favorites:
St George's, Bermuda Marco Island, FL Key Largo, FL Aspen/Snowmass, CO in September (I don't ski but I love the late summer/early fall there) Yellowstone Atlantis in the Bahamas

Seville, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey. There are very few things that I deem really beautiful in this world, Istanbul is one of them.

Israel, Germany, and Normandy France. Tel Aviv is awesome when your not fearing for your life. Germany has the best beer and the Autobahn and Normandy France is so Pro American that it felt like home when I ws there. All 3 feature some very attractive women with accents. A woman with an accent is instantly more attractive than one of equal hotness and has no accent.

Re: Favorite Places You Have Visited
New Orleans was really impressive when I visited about 6 years ago. My favorite places to visit have been Vancouver and Argentina.

Re: Favorite Places You Have Visited
Munich. Best decent sized city I've ever been to, bar none as far as day to day living goes. Between Oktoberfest, Biergartens, Englischer Garten, tons of public transport, bike paths... just a very nice city.
La Maddalena, Italy. Lived there for 3 years, it's a tiny archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea just off the northern tip of Sardinia (Sardegna). Clear emerald water, lots of night life within 5 minutes walk and about 45 minutes from Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda. Also 5 minutes from Club Med on a nearby island and a wildlife preserve. Topless beaches full of smoking hot vacationing Italian girls... It's a good spot. Reykjavik, Iceland. Lived there also for 3 years. (Go Navy, lol) The economy is in shambles right now, but it's a beautiful place to visit during the summer. Snowmobile rides across the glacier, bathing in hotsprings during the winter and tons of nightlife. Something like 75% of the Iceland's population lives in Reykjavik. Rome, Italy. Obvious choice but hard to argue with. Best to go during late Spring before everyone goes on vacation and it gets unbearably hot. Countless things to do...

Re: Favorite Places You Have Visited
Well, my honeymoon in Aruba was amazing. I've also been to a lot of places in Europe, but the one that sticks out the most was Normandy, France. Point Du Hoc. I stood in a German bunker overlooking the beaches of the D-Day invasion. There were huge craters in the ground from American mortar fire. Man, my hair was standing on end. Greatest generation indeed.
Snorkeling in St. John in the USVI was really awesome. Honestly though, one of my favorite places is pretty simple- my dad's place in Blowing Rock, NC. Up in the mountains, clean crisp air, so peaceful. Love it there. And Siesta Key, Fl (where I got married) is great, too. That's about it for me. I need to travel more.
