Good for Campbell
Glad to see him doing well and getting a fresh start. I'll go out on a limb and say he will have be a very good year and take the Raiders to the playoffs.
QB Jason Campbell making a big difference for Oakland Raiders - ESPN Campbell looking to thrive with Oakland

Re: Good for Campbell
I hope so. I wasn't a big fan of his performance while he was here, but he was clearly a class act. Wish him nothing but the best.

Re: Good for Campbell
I get his frustration but he didn't prove himself as franchise material.. then again not many do

I'll go out on a limb and say your completely off your rocker. not only will the Raiders not break .333, but Campbell will stink it up and Oakland fans will blame the 15 systems he's had to learn in the past 16 years or some other such nonsense. news flash: Campbell is not a starting-caliber NFL qb.

Re: Good for Campbell
JaMarcus must have been really, really bad for Asomugha to say that. And Gradkowski must have not been too great either.

Oakland gives him a fresh start. He'll improve over last year a little above his historical trend line, which means he'll have a very solid season. And...he's still one of the highest character guys in the game. ...nonetheless our current QB is a super high character guy and knows how to win. McNabb is a franchise talent. Let's all hope he's got a few great years left.

Re: Good for Campbell
I'm defintley pulling for JC this year... I think the Raiders are going to be a lot better this season. I don't see them making the playoffs, but I think they'll be competitive and relevant.

Re: Good for Campbell
Very happy for JC! He's simply is not a west coast read theole field type of QB. If Hue Jackson designs the right offense for JC, meaning have him read half the field, have a strong running game and have a lot of play action stuff then he'll be fine. JC is a starter in this league. I think Oak. will have a good running game but at this point they just don't have any wr's that are going to help him.

Re: Good for Campbell
The Raiders will be a tough out this year, I could see them rising up to .500 or so.
