Red Snapper gone
For those like me wishing to replace Sundberg, forget the Red Snapper:
Chargers sign Ethan Albright, fourth long snapper this year - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

Re: Red Snapper gone
You're just jealous that I was able to get close enough to bask in his red glow of glory.

Re: Red Snapper gone
I don't know how I feel calling a dude a Snapper but hey. That Daywalking Ginger sure was one hell of a reliable Long Snapper though.

Re: Red Snapper gone
He looks pretty skinny for a lineman.

Re: Red Snapper gone
A LS really isn't a lineman in the true sense of the word.

Re: Red Snapper gone
I don't know... That achromatic ivory skin might not hold up to the harsh sunlight of SoCal. I'm still holding out hope that we can bring him back to gloomy DC before the year is out.

Re: Red Snapper gone
I don't understand why we didn't make a move on him. Sundberg has clearly struggled throughout his tenure here. Although they did not lead to errors, a couple of snaps in the Rams game were bad.
I understand the idea of a youth movement (although said idea is lacking from other aspects of the roster). But Albright is automatic, while Sundberg is an adventure every time he snaps.

Re: Red Snapper gone
Ah the "Red Snapper" other than "Slingin Sammy" one of the greatest nicknames in NFL history.
