Around the league today
Eagles all over the Packers so far, Bucs skunk the Falcons, Jets improve to 9-3, Patriots smoke the Browns, and Manning moves to 44 TD's on the year.

I think 8-8 makes the playoffs from the NFC. The Eagles are good.

Let's hope the Eagles are ripe for an upset next week, coming off a big win, the division wrapped up, etc.

How 'bout dem Chargers!
Two tough losses in a row for the Broncos. Is Shanahan's job in jeopardy? Does he go to Notre Dame maybe? Hutch leading the Bears to a shocker over the Vikings....somewhere Parcells is shaking his head in disbelief. Panthers quietly have won four in a row.

The Panthers might be headed back to the playoffs if you ask me, the way the NFC is right now, they are playing some of the best football in the conference(outside of PHI). That is one team who you have to respect. They have been absolutley killed, and I mean killed with the injury bug, but I watched about a quarter of that game today, and they just play determined football. If they make the playoffs, I'd like to see them do well ( assuming we dont pull off the impossible). The Chargers, really not a whole lot you can say, from the worst team in the league to this??? Parody at its finest, but they play some good football. I love sundays, I cant belive there is only four more weeks of regular season .

I can't believe it either, Gmac. I couldn't wait for the season to end, now I want it to slow down, yet I can't wait for the Eagles!

I'm excited to play the Eagles, but I really hope it dosent mess up the rythm we may be gaining. With the end of our schedule (SF, DAL, MIN) , we have a really good shot to put a good end on the season. I really dont know how I feel about playing PHI next week, I think we can play with them, we proved we could a couple weeks ago. I just hope, if they win, which they **probobly** should, that it dosent ruin what we have been buidling. Seriously think of how the Packers must feel today. All that hard work and they go out and get humiliated.

Well we had the Chargers game on over here and I wouldn't put them in the SB just yet. They had the game all but wrapped up and let the Bronco's get a sniff. Plummer threw 4 INT's but they were still a TO away from tieing it up at the end. The chargers D did just enough at the end, but their O in the 2nd half all but ground to a halt.

Man the NFC is a waste pile this year. 8-8 could make the playoffs for some teams and that is ridiculous. It just goes to show how the league is so even that the difference between the playoffs and the golf course is really only two or three plays a year now. Think about this. If we get that score against the Pack we most likely win that game and if the refs don't whore us against Dallas there is a good chance we win that game. I honestly don't remember any of those type calls going for us so the way I see it we're owed 2 biggies next year. We could be 6-6 and basically a lock for the NFC playoffs just based on two or three bad calls. Of course if our offense was even average we'd also be in position to make the playoffs.
