bless this man.

he seems like he just woke up, but he said all the right things and managed some of that humor he's known for.

Gibbs, give him that 3rd 1,500 yd season!

I would like to see him hit the 1500 yd too. Does anyone know what are the most rushing yards in a season for the skins and by who?

Portis is on pace to break the Redskins' single-season rushing record of 1,432 yards, set by Stephen Davis in 2001. Of course, he's also on pace to break the Redskins' single-season record for most rushing attempts, set by John Riggins in 1983 with 375.

well the more he runs the more we win. so run, Clinton run. Gibbs better not abandon the run so quickly if we're behind a little. Clinton running gives the whole offense options (and vital confidence), plus keeps our defense rested for the fourth quarter (see last Philly game).
