Personally reminds me of Alex Smith with slightly better physical tools. I'm glad he's declaring as it pushes everyone else in the draft back one spot. From the first round QB we target to the 3-4 LB or DE in the 2nd round.

I've watched him play quite a bit, he's a decent player more likely a 2nd or 3rd round QB

I don't know man. I mean I'm not to high on him either but right now he's projected to go in the top 10. Maybe even as high as the top 5.

Yes he is the 2 best Qb in the draft and is the only other QB besides Luck that is worthy of being drafted at the #10 spot. Unfortunately i dont see either of them being there at 10. That slot is too high for Newton, Mallet, or Locker.

Skins have heavily scouted Ponder this year, much to my delight. I'd like to see thm take him in the 2nd round. The could even trade down a few spots and probably still get him

If your right, that would mean increased value.

I like Ponder too, bias because im an FSU fan, he just has to be more durable and take less hits.

So you're picturing a Grossman-Smith-Ponder group? Interesting. I'll hold you to that prediction and if you're wrong, well lets just say that you're going to be missing an "o" key on your keyboard. Cross me again and I'll go after the "c" key.

Still it looks like the Skins are trying to make their QB position the island of misfit toys.

Re: Anyone like Blaine Gabbert, he just declared for the draft

Gabbert is not going to be available in the 2nd round. So many teams need QB's. AZ, MN, Carolina, Skins, possible Cinci, Buffalo, Raiders. A lot of qbs will be drafted this year. He is going to move up draft boards as it keeps getting closer.

Not predicting that by any means. Still early
