London Fletcher the Pro Bowler again!

Redskins add a pair of Pro Bowlers | ProFootballTalk

It may be quicker at some point to list the players that haven’t been invited to the Pro Bowl.

Redskins defenders Brian Orakpo and London Fletcher were the latest two players to get the call on Monday. Fletcher replaces Chicago’s Brian Urlacher, who won’t play due to disinterest injury. Orakpo replaces Green Bay’s Clay Matthews.

Orakpo had 8.5 sacks. Fletcher makes the game for the second straight year. Along with DeAngelo Hall, the league’s 31st-ranked defense now has three members going to the league’s All Star game.
Hall, Orakpo and Fletcher being in the pro bowl I guess kind of makes up for being the 31st ranked total defense?

Glad he made it....However its tough to justify having 3 people in the probowl on a 31st ranked Defense isnt it?

Well this is going to happen with the new probowl schedule. Beside all that, the probowl is a popularity contest based on sportscenter highlights and stats which dont paint the whole picture.

If anything, Fletch should have been the only Redskin to make it, IMO. Maybe Moss with his catches?

honestly they should just present a all nfc team a all afc team and all pro team and then be done with it, no need to actually play the game but i am sure there is profit in that game so it will always be played.

Re: London Fletcher the Pro Bowler again!

that's great for Fletch ... yeah we have 3 pro bowlers from a 31st ranked team but clearly this shows you that we have 3 pieces that are a large part of the solution .. here's hoping #59 can give us another solid 2-3 years

Hmmm, that's how a former girlfriend described our first sexual encounter. The relationship was short lived ...

Good for FLETCH. He deserves! If we had a bunch of REDSKINS that played the game and cared as much as LF even in the later part of his career, we would be getting ready for a trip to Dallas.

Re: London Fletcher the Pro Bowler again!

Not the way I'd like to see my Redskins earn a spot in a Pro Bowl, but I'll take it! It's good to know we have three going now instead of only one (and it was a questionable pick at that!)

Of course I hardly ever watch the Pro Bowl, unless the brunettes in the bikinis that are on the commercial are going to be there, then I might tune in...LOL!

That's why the Pro Bowl is a complete joke and they should just do away with it. No one wants to play in it and it's watered down to the point where 3 guys from the worst defense in the NFL are playing.
