Minnesota court refuses to review appeal in "StarCaps" case

Quote:
“The Minnesota Supreme Court has just issued this morning an order denying a review of the appeals court decision that went in favor of the league,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said today on PFT Live. “The result is the case is over and we, the NFL, prevailed in the case. So there is a court in Minnesota that rules in our favor from time to time.”

Presumably, that means Pat Williams, Kevin Williams and Will Smith will all be suspended for the first four games of the 2011 NFL season.

Heh, now that Minny is no longer a contender, having them missing games really isn't a big deal.
The Williams wall also has regressed from their previously established "top dog" status anyway.

Reminds me of a hockey game when one team gets a Power Play the refs will sometimes try to even things out and look for a reason to give the other team a Power Play. Or as I call it, being extra attentive.

One of the Williams is probably going to retire anyway (can't remember which one). Besides there's a new version of the Williams Wall in the NFC with the Lions.

Pat Williams is nearing 40, so if one of them is going to retire, it's going to be him.

Yes, I believe that's who I was thinking about.
