Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
I love pretty much everything about this new look, except the name Wizards. This is as close to perfect they can get without fixing the name, so I approve. I love the retro-Bullets look.

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
I think it's horrendous. Reminds me of the Bills uniforms tailored to a basketball jersey/shorts combo.

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
Seriously. I like the spirit of what they did but I would rather have one solid color from top to bottom. Not horizontal stripes.

Well hey, at least the Bloods can't use them anymore. To much blue to pass for bloods atire. Ditto with the old Wizard jerseys and the Crips.

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
Seriously, the DC logo looks kinda like a dong.
Other than that, I guess they're okay. I'd probably buy that blue John Wall t-shirt on the right if I saw it in a store and had some money to burn. Looks like they made it easy to change the name without having to tweek the design too much, so I guess that's sort of a plus.

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
I like the hidden Washington Monuments on the wordmarks. "d" on Wizards and "h" in Washington.
I also like the "d" on the "dc" logo...nice throwback to the Bullets. I think we may see the real name return in a few years and this will be the perfect design for them...just change the name on the home jerseys and its done. The basketball logo is nice too.

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
I love 'em. Outside of the skins all the teams should use red white and blue since they're in DC. I couldn't like them more. Maybe if they didn't say stupid "Wizards".

Re: New Washington Wizards/Bullets uniforms
I like the change. I too wish they would have simply done something about the name also. Honestly I'd have prefered the name be "Bullets" again. It was only changed because the owner didn't like the idea of gangs using his uniform. Guess what? I don't think there is a Pro team out there that does not have a gang wearing their uniform.
Get over it. Bring back the name. I too am happy seeing all the DC teams wearing red, white, and blue. It's a shame the Skins don't but should they ever have to change their name, please change the colors to reflect the Nations colors as the other teams have. |
