Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
Seems like over the past week or so the traffic on here is starting to slow. Maybe it is due to the holiday or is becasue we are all just tired of arguing/ discussing the same thing over and over.
I think I predict a few months back we eventually just be arguing if it is less filling or taste great. Are we at that point now? I know I am seriously starting to careless and less about the NFL.

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
Things usually pick up dramatically around training camp time - summer lull, that's all. If they go to camp, all is well. If they don't, GMScud should be the first MOD to see the door

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
thought this was a joke when I first saw the title, but I agree w/you that there's a lull. Isn't it usually like this after the draft & we're waiting for camp/rookie signings?

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
For what it is worth, I check here often, but don't really post much, cuz I can't get to excited about football with the court stuff going on. On the other hand, (and call me traitor) the Cowboys board has had several very interesting discussions/debates about the lockout/court issues, with several negotiation lawyers weighing in on both sides of the fence.

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
It is, but you also usually have OTA's and things that let you look at the draft/FA class. Imagine if we were discussing Kerrigans impact on the other side of Orakpo, or how Hankerson was looking on the field. Far more substance to carry through this down time.

Not sure about specific traffic numbers, I haven't bothered to check. Not much to talk about lately I do know what.
The downturn in the economy really hurt us more than anything. A lot of advertisers dried up completely or cut their rates. |

What do you want to talk about though? We've done all the speculation, covered the draft and free agency, it just comes down to when Football starts... It'll pick up.

Now I am not so sure. Read today that Cris Collinsworth is so sure that at least half of the season will be missed, he took a job helping coach his sons High School Football team. No pay, just something to kill the time. |

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
Not at all, there are still as many crazy impossible trade scenarios and unrealistic FA desires as any other off-season at the WP.
Seems like business as usual, except for the extra legal jargon thrown in.

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
I will say I've slowed down the WP for a few weeks but I usually do this time of the year anyway.

I actually don't post much in this section when there is no football being played unless something has happened. Add the fact that I had an employee leave/move and one is on vacation for two weeks and I'm haaving to actually work. On top of that we got hit by lighting knocking out the office phones 3 computers and the copier, fax, and scanner so thats been a bitch. That lighting strike came from a bad storm so I have allot of customer calling to file claims and I have one working computer. |

Re: Is the lockout hurting the Warpath?
So looks like a mix bag. I seriously could come to this site just for the parking lot. I feel like it has definitley slowed down but to be expected since there is really nothing to talk about on the main topic of discussion: "Redskins Football."
I wish this crap would end so we could get back to talking about Redskin football.
