I just want one year. I dont care, just one year where this is "the team" and I can have a year of fun.

I hate loving the Redskins, too.

I think I'll stay inside for the next two to three days before I go out in public again. After a loss like this one, it's like I have "I'm a skins fan and I know we choked Sunday" tattooed on my forehead.

Amen! We've been just have a yard shy and a couple of bad plays short of being one of the top teams for the last two seasons. Our D is #1 no matter what the stats show, or for unfortunately getting burned tonight. We just haven't had the "O" to back 'em up.

The only saving grace is the fact that we WILL be so much better next season. However I have to temper that with the knowledge that we lost AGAIN to a team and a group of supporters that I detest.

We're going to have to beat them twice a season for a decade straight before I can feel better about this recent history against them.

I hate the fact that whoever suits up in a Redskins uniform thinks he cannot beat DAL. Snyder needs to spend some of that money on a witch doctor.

I'd be very surprised if any Redskin player 'thinks' that they can't beat the Cow-whores.

You're starting to sound like a Cow-whores troll, BossHog, are you?

How so? Outside of Jon Jansen, the offensive line officially SUCKS ASS. We need more players along the line than one draft can generate, and that's if all of your picks pan out. Plus, we're seriously pushing the cap limit so don't look for anymore spending sprees in the free agent market next year.

Until we get an O-line that can block for a runner enough to gain more than 10 yards with less than 2 minutes left so they can protect a lead and get out with a win, I don't see how the Redskins fortune will change next year.

But boy, do I love the eternal optimists.

Angry I'm sick of losing to Dallas

We need to sweep Dallas next year, no way around it. We could get swept by them next season and still finish 14-2 and win the Super Bowl, and I would still be really mad. Winning the division and making the playoffs means nothing to me unless we beat the Cowgirls at least once during the season.

Developing the O-line to play like a Denver type O-line is absolutely CRITICALLLLLL. We wanna be at the point next year when we're not dependent on Clinton Portis to churn out yards.

For those who are counting on us to make it big next year, what would you say if Clinton portis suffered a season ending injury during the preseason? Rather than relying on an inconsistent RB to make big plays, I feel that developing a great O-line and plugging in whoever as the RB to churn out yards is a better strategy. I'm sick of us being unable to run the ball consistently.

Me personally wouldn't mind Betts starting, but thats just me. Only if Portis gets hurt, at least he can get a yard up the middle.
