I've been a Redskin fan, a real fan since 1992 ( I was a bandwagoner in 91', so I dont count that year), and the only other loss that really was EVER worse than this one was the 1999 loss to Tampa Bay in the playoffs. I dont even care that were 5-10, this loss just killed me.

I've heard that thanksgiving one was awful. This one is definitely down there, as was the time we lost opening weekend on the TD bomb to Rocket Ismail, or how about the time we lost when Stephen Davis fumbled the ball on MNF back in 2001. They all suck

Clint Longley pass on thanksgiving was the worse. He was the unkwon back up and hit a bomb that just barely beat our saftey. Also the one Roger Staubach drove them in the last 2 minutes with a concussion and scored. Yesterday again was pretty bad. But to lose this many to these guys just does not cut it. The Skins need a history lesson on why this game is so important to the fans.

The most recent loss to Dallas will always be the worst.

Losing to Dallas sucks, I'm not sure where this one rates, since both teams are in the toilet looking at the big picture the game didn't mean anything.
Still hurts though, just a little more salt in the big gaping wound that is the 2004 season. |

The shutout they pitched against us in the Spurrier era was the worst one I remember. Anywhere that we don't even keep it close makes me cry!

The Davis MNF fiasco will be the worst for a while for me. A whole bar full of non-partisan football fans laughing at me and my buddy (Chris, Cow-whores fan) as both teams made asses of themselves. Just awful. The losses get harder to bear, not easier for some odd reason. I couldn't sleep last night I was wound up so bad.

The thing that really sucks about this one is that we had momentum going into the end of the season. We made a good showing against Philly, beat the Giants and SF like we were supposed to. Dallas was slipping and had no signs of hope. We SHOULD have beat them and made a good showing. It just hurts so bad when we don't win when we should.

That had to be one of the worst. It was raining and the stadium was full of cowboy fans. I hated life that day. |

Your all forgetting about the game when dallas knocked us out of the playoff's when we played them for the division title and we were up by 13 with 2 minutes to play and they scored 2 TD's to beat us, that was the game riggin's turned the right corner for about a 65 yard TD. That and thanksgiving were the 2 toughest games for me to swallow.
This game is absolutly meaningless to me what ramification's did it have? other than getting us a better draft pick? Thank's Dallas! |
