Question for Redskins Historians 1991-92 Season
Hey guys to start thanks for being the #1 source for accurate information about my favorite team and thanks for the meetings and friendships I have been apart of with this group.
I have a question and it's gonna be tough. Think back to the 1991-1992 Super Bowl season where we went on to beat the Bills 37-24 to win Super Bowl XXVI. On January 12th, 1992 we played Detroit here at home at RFK in the NFC Championship game. QUESTION: WHO WAS THE HONORARY CAPTAIN OF THAT GAME FOR THE REDSKINS? Yeah, I know. That's a tough one. I can find info about the old schedule and things of that nature but nothing about who may have been the honorary captain of the games. I have a prize for the person with the correct answer. Thanks mike aka Sammy Baugh Fan

To make this clear about this question.
I'm not positive of the correct answer. I have one name and I am trying to corroborate if it is correct or not so I'm looking for a second source or some data to back it up. I "heard" this person was made honorary Captain for that game and was given a jersey with his number on it. Again thanks guys! peace mike

This also seems like a dumb guess, but what about Kennan McCardell?
