NFL.com news: Carroll views James as pass rusher, but NBA star wants the ball
Bron has been the talk of the town ever since he tweeted about playing in the NFL, Now he continues to tweet to players and coaches.. I would put him at TE personally what do you'll think? Is LeBron James really eyeing the NFL? - Heat Index Blog - ESPN

This should be brought up in 10yrs when we have another LOCKOUT and need things to talk about IMO. Didn't come to the KNICKS so I don't care about him.

Re: Could "King" James make it in the NFL?
He could make it on athleticism alone. I think the real question is weather or not he would be a star. Honestly though with his speed and size he would be the ideal receiver. 6'8 and I imagine he can run a 4.4 40. He also played the position in high school and was first team all-state in Ohio as a sophomore, one of the better states for High School football. Had he gone through with football I'm pretty sure he could have ended up as a star. However even a year off from football can be a career killer so I doubt he could have much of an impact going from High School football in the early 2000's to pro football 10 years later.

I would love for James to catch a pass down the middle and Landry de-cleat him...

I'd probably play him at TE.

Wr or te but it'll never happen. You have to play football for years to hone your craft and learn the ins and out, and it would take too long for him to learn the terminology anyways. So it won't happen, and if it did happen I don't think he'd have the impact hed expect to have.

Let's see him get used to the speed and hitting...and Tony Romo.

Trying to do his own version of what Michael did with the White Sox. Go pro in his other High School sport.
