Keyshawn to Dallas!!!!!!!!!
foxsports.com reports that the deal for Keyshawn to Dallas is done. What is the possibility of us bringing in more depth at CB to help against the NFC East WR's? I mean Dallas, Giants, and now Philly have better WR's to defend against than in the past.

Sounds like we already have. Skins site says we signed Walt Harris from the Colts. His credentials sounds pretty impressive!! Since we got Coles last season, seems like all the other NFC East teams are bringing in big name receivers to try to compete. I still think Coles is better than anything they've brought in!! He does his job as good as any of them and I've never heard of any complaints from him unlike T.O. or Keyshawn!!!! With Smoot, Springs and now Harris, looks like we've got the secondary covered!!!!!

IMO I think that Brown is better than Harris, If you compare stats.

NFC East teams all bringing in big bodied receivers. Coles is great, but you don't exactly worry about him wearing you down physically all game. He might run you to death, but these receivers will beat you up.
Like them or not, they are both very talented and I think the TO/Keyshawn battles could be interesting to watch. The egos clash! |

plus isn't brown a few years younger than harris? and I don't remember a skins defense having this much solid depth at cornerback so if anything we r prepared for injuries and as others have said Williams likes to use 5 db sets. Last edited by skinsfanthru&thru; 03-18-2004 at 11:24 PM. |

Key to Dallas. Intersting. To agree, I think with just pure talent, I'd rather have Coles than Keyshawn, but Ownes over Coles. Thats just talent I'm talking about. As a player I want Coles cause he works his ass off every play, and isnt a stuck up assclown. I dont think defending Keywhawn is as big a deal as getting ready for T.O. Plus TO has someone to get him the ball, Keyshawn may not, time will tell with Henson. Still I think we have done a tremendous job getting some secondary to help replace Champ Bailey.

I believe Coles was a running back in college so he has instinct and toughness to run after the catch. Dont let his small stature lead you to underestimate him

Look at all the talent, all the personalities in the NFC East now. I think it will regain its status as the premier division in football. I hate Keyshawn and I welcome him at the same time. Same with T.O.

I WOULD NOT TRADE COLES FOR T.O., KEYSHAWN, OR ANY OTHER RECEIVER IN THE NFL. I would not even consider it.
Who the f**k is Keyshawn? Trust me the Bucs would have won that bowl without him. As for TO, for all his "talent", how many bowls have the 49ers won? In fact they haven't even come close. Like Ghost said, I am almost glad these guys went to our divisional rivals. I CAN'T WAIT to cheer against them. The NFC East will be a bloodbath this year. It almost makes me want to take Taylor so I can watch him lay out TO and Key as they come over the middle. I have to calm down, I'm starting to get crazy. |

I agree with CrazyCanuck. F**k TO and Me-Shawn! I really hope we draft Taylor. He is such a threat in the secondary and he could lay some nice hits on TO and Keyshawn.
The NFC East is the best division in football now and the skins are going to be right on top! |

Coles is a better overall player (talent, locker room, etc.), but TO is just a beast on the field. Both Philly and Dallas have improved themselves this year in the offseason, and we were far away from them before they made the improvements.
I like the Portis deal, he gives the skins a true ground threat...but the defensive side of the ball was not really impressive. I sure hope Mr. Williams is as good as they say he is cause the talent, other than LB and Smoot is not there and the defense will struggle....now with that being said....remember Richie Pettibon? Had great defenses with mediocre talent.....deja vu???????????????? |

At these point in there career's I think Coles and be better than TO. I remember watching tape of the jets game a few days ago (the only game i believe coles was fully healthy and he was just unstoppable. He straight burned some jets on numerouis occations. I think our new offense will suite him well too.
