McNabb sick during Super Bowl?

Just wondering what you guys thought of these reports that are coming out that McNabb was sick during the game and at one point couldn't even call out the plays, and everyone's favorite scrub WR Freddie Mitchell had to call the play.

It kind of explains some things, he did seem a bit out of it late in the game.

well if he was vomiting last time in the NFC championship game, do u think it may just be nerves? i mean they said he had a cold, that doesnt make u vomit profusely. i think it was more nerves than anyhting. cuz i mean if u think about it, last time he was in a big game, he vomited... hmm...

I would have a hard time believing that his nerves didn't hit him until the fourth quarter. Donavan McPuke just cant win the big game. Mcpuke has to play in three more to win the big one.

Amen! he didn't look so sick when his big ass flashed a beaming smile after his TD pass put the Iggles ahead 7-0 in the 2nd quarter.

He just doesn't have enough big game winning experience. The only way the Eagles were going to win that day is if Mcnabb would've scrambled more. There were plenty of lanes for him to run, but he froze and was content to sit back and make throws.

As much as we all hate on McNabb saying that he can't win a big game. Hey, at least he's been there. NONE of our QBs have played in a big game.

I know Brunell has played in championship game, but that was like 10 years ago. I mean...do you really think Brunell can come out and perform better than McNabb did? I think not.

I believe it that he was sick. The clock management at the end of the game was terrible, and I don't think Andy Reid had anything to do with it. Even Fraley tried to hurry up the offense, but McNabb called everyone back to huddle. That right there tells you that there was something else going besides poor clock management.

How warm was it that night I don't remember hearing, or perhaps it was just pure exhaustion from being so jacked up for the game.

I just hope that when all of the Eagles talent finally leaves them and they go back to being the doormat of the NFC East that they didn't win ANY Super Bowls

I thought I heard that it was in the 60's? I could be wrong.

To me that's perfect weather. But I also did hear that McNabb had a cold the night before.

Excuses, Excuses... Come on. The guy choked. TO--who I hate--played with screws in his legs, etc. Everyone is hurting this time of year. Ben Rothelsburger (sp!!!) claimed to have broken toes when he lost. Think of Doug Williams with the hyperextended knee. Playing hurt and sick is part of the deal.

By the way, what about the punk pinkston? Goes to the locker room with cramps in the SUPERBOWL? That guy finds a way to punk out every big game. (No need to even mention motormouth mitchell.)

I hate the iggles.

Philly would be the kind of team to make excuses as to why they lost.

Seems weird that McNabb got sick...Pinkston has cramps bad enough to send him to the locker room and Kearse had cramps bad enough to take him out pf some plays. Did all the Iggles go out partying the night before and get dehydrated? I mean at the end of a long season these guys should at least be in enough shape to not get cramps. What the hell?

I think Donovan was trying to make some Campbell's Chunky soup.

That's why I mentioned the weather as a possible factor. Even though it was a mild night it was still significantly warmer than Philly, perhaps they weren't prepared for it as well as they should have been.

They lost that is all that matters. Willie Beamin played fine after he puked!!! The Eagles are just trying to draw attention away from the loss.
