Re: Sept 11,2001

What a national tragedy that brought out the best in all of us. Today we remember those who lost their lives on that horrific day on September 11th, as well as those who are in battle and in harms way protecting our freedoms.

God bless the families of those left behind. God bless America. We'll never forget.

By the way, does this thread of all threads, have to be under "Debating with the enemy"? I wish we could move it to the parking lot.

Agreed. Can we put aside our differences for this and find a common ground as we remember those who died and those who risk their lives for is every day.

Re: Sept 11,2001

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember staying at home watching the News before having to leave for a meeting. As I was driving the news reporter was talking about the warnings going out about bridges and tunnels could also be targets as I was entering the Downtown Tunnel. It was the longest 1/2 mile I have ever driven through that tunnel.

Re: Sept 11,2001

I would have never thought they would use DNA to trace things like they must have after the towers fell. Most people knew after so many days their love one was probably dead. I then read this and kind of laughed.

For the next few days, they considered Randy a missing person, checking bars, restaurants and hospitals.

I guess you hold out all hope of finding your love ones a live but did they actually think they would find him in a bar drinking or at a restaurant having dinner days after the towers fell.
