Happy Halloween?
Happy Halloween! Or did that silly b***h Sandy ruin everyone's spirit?!?!
We usually have a small costume party at work, and I was only 1 of 3 people to take part this year. The theme was vaguely sports or some crap so I wore the t-shirt/race bib/medal/and fur helmet that I got from The Warrior Dash along with gym shorts, high socks, and running shoes. Easiest $25 Amazon gift card ever! Anyone else planning on anything?!?! We can't let Sandy win!!!

several people in my office have dressed up, really funny stuff. i would have worn something funny if i was sure i won't be interviewing for an open position today.

Re: Happy Halloween?
The storm has definitely taken some of the wind out of Halloween this year. I literally forgot about it until my son asked me this morning about it.

Re: Happy Halloween?
Halloween is "postponed" until Saturday here, but I'm going to do a bunch of fun stuff for the kids (mainly the 4YO) this evening. The 1YO just likes to eat...she doesn't get the holiday concept yet.

She is probably curious as to why all this candy suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Re: Happy Halloween?
got a total of 2 trick-or-treaters
on my way home from work, between the freeway and my home, i saw tons of kids trick-or-treating. our complex has a gate but it's not locked, i guess that may have deterred many. the 2 kids were happy though, i told them to take as much as their lil paws could carry. one was a ninja, the other was a soldier
