London Fletcher's consecutive game streak in jeopardy
London Fletcher’s streak is in jeopardy, again | ProFootballTalk
If Fletcher can't go, I have a lot of confidence in Lorenzo Alexander and Keenan Robinson to fill in. But Fletcher is an iron man. His streak for consecutive games played has been in danger before because of injury. Perhaps he'll be able to start the game in order to keep the streak alive but probably by the 2nd or 3rd defensive series he will come out and be replaced by Lorenzo. |

I'm not one for him starting the game to keep the streak alive. The streak alone is impressive, but it will end eventually. If that's on Thursday, so be it. If Fletcher isn't healthy enough to play, shut him down for a game and let him get healthy.

If he can't go he can't go. No need to wrap up a active roster spot on game day for a few token plays to keep a meaningless streak alive. I'd be shocked if Fletch or the team thought doing so would be the appropriate course of action.

Yeah, his consecutive game streak is meaningless when compared to him remaining healthy. Regardless if he can't play, you have to admit that 234 games played is more than extremely impressive.
