I think his performance in the championship game will hurt his draft stock more than his lies, regardless of his motivations.

There are much worst things going on in this country right now.
Even if the guy lied and was part of it. who did he really hurt? Probably himself and family the most. There is a saying for teenage and twenty something boys. Young dumb and full of c*m. Those three factors make for bad decisions. I know I had plenty at that age.

Either way, he's enough of a head-case to raise alot of red flags to NFL teams. However, alot NFL teams dont seem to have a problem spending 1st round picks on guys who've beat their girlfriends, stealing laptops, and doing drugs, so maybe making up a girlfriend is a small red flag in comparison.
