Massive tornado rips through Moore, Oklahoma: 51 killed

Dozens Killed In Massive Tornado Near Oklahoma City : The Two-Way : NPR

Pretty tragic that many have lost their lives. A suspected 20 kids are among that total. It's a harsh reminder of how cruel and unforgiving mother nature can be at times. I think it was a reported that it was a F4 tornado, with winds up to 166mph. Hope our resident Oklahoma Warpathers stay safe during these storms.

Thanks everyone for the prayers. I'm doing as good as I can I suppose. The storm barely missed my side of town in Norman by minutes, I live in south Norman and it hit north Norman and the entire south east Moore. I was at work in South okc which is about 10 mins from the area impacted. Took me 6 hours to get through Moore last night and it usually takes 30 mins. Just a horrible sight, about 5 of my friends in Moore lost everything. So as u can imagine the entire area is just somber today and will be for a long long time. Last I heard 91 have been found dead, 100 were found last night and it has been declared and F5, some reports said it was the worst tornado in history and it certainly looks that way. Thanks again for the well wishes.

^ I am assuming WV is spared and parts of VA/NC because of the Application Mountains.

Thanks for updating us and stay safe good sir. I don't think it's over because they've been saying there could be storms today as well.

I'll try and upload some videos when I can, some folks literally getting up from the shelter to look at all of the damage.
