this was announced right before disneys CEO Iger had an 19% increase in his pay from 31 million in 2011 to 37 million in 2012. that seems pretty fair to me. and people wonder where the jobs go?

Eyeroll.
Iger gets a big increase because he's extraordinarily talented and can drive much more revenue than he is paid. Layoffs happen when people are replaceable. Sack up and acknowledge that some people are just worth more than others. And some, way WAY more.
