What's Your Drink?
I know we've done this thread before but it's been a while and I think it might have been before the switch over last February:
When I'm not tipping back some milk or Gatorade, I'm all about the Rum and Coke (even rum and sprite is pretty good) How about the rest of you? What's your drink?

Re: What's Your Drink?
Southern Comfort straight up is my favorite drink...although i don't drink it anymore...way too many bad nights. I stick with beer these days, preferably Sam Adams Light.

Either a Margarita, a Seabreeze or shots of SOCOM

Re: What's Your Drink?
Wow. It depends on the season/weather.
Warmer weather and evening you go with darker liqour. Daytime you go with light! 7-7 is always good, jack and coke is a good casual drink, I like the occassional scotch on the rocks, Sambuka (sp?), Mescal, tanqueray and tonic is great!, Amaretto Sour, Long Island Ice Tea, Tom Collins... the list goes on. My favorite drink? Manhattan on the ROCKS. Not in the fruity glass! Nothing like it. Two cherries. It's a lot of booze, but I like it! |

Re: What's Your Drink?
for me its either screwdrivers, margaritas, tequila straight up, or an ice cold bud, but I'm always open to atleast try pretty much anything that doesn't have kalua or yagermeister(sp?) in it. I can't remember what was in it but at one bar I had a mixed drink called "dirty bong water" and it was awesome. it looks like green ooze but tasted kind of like berry kool aid with a really nice kick to it.
and anybody that likes margaritas I heavily recommend TGIF's. thing comes in a huge glass and even though I'm not that big of a drinker, it was gone before the waitress came back with my salad. |

Re: What's Your Drink?
My prefered drink is rum (really good rum) straight up. But at the bars I'm usually drinking Grey Goose/Tonic or Jack/Ginger Ale......
For all of you Jack/Coke drinkers, I recommend you try Jack/Ginger.......it tastes so much better. My prefered beer is Heineken, or Amstel Light. |

Ice Cold Beer.
Not a big fan of any type of hard alchol; the most of the time. I like some mixed drinks, but for most of the time; I like beer.

Re: What's Your Drink?
let's see...
beer wise...if i'm drinking socially, it's a light beer (bud or miller, never coors, unless it's free). i prefer a nice black and tan (guinness and bass) or half and half (guinness and harp) if drinking a beer with dinner. i'll try just about anything beer wise. one of my faves right now is Sam Adams White Ale (similar to Blue Moon). Very tasty, especially when garnished with an orange (trust me). liquor wise...my faves are 7&7, any good irish whiskey (Bushmills, Jameson) and ginger ale, any rum (especially the capt) and diet coke (diet coke, no sugar, less hangover) with lime (cuba libre), and i make a mean margarita (over the rocks, never frozen...frozen margaritas are for women and children ). if you're ever in Howard County, hit a place called El Azteca in Clarksville (108 and 32)...great margaritas there. oh, and jack and ginger is good...however, i rarely ever touch jack anymore. he and i have an agreement...i don't mess with him and he doesn't mess with me (let's just say i had the brains to help myself to an entire fifth one night...and i'll leave it at that). i've always been a jim beam guy anyway, since that was the first liquor i snuck out of my parents' liquor cabinet. shot wise...soco and lime, jager, kamikaze, lemon drops, sex on the beach, sambuca, tuaca, goldschlager, black haus, rumple minze...all chilled nicely and if you have the cash, get yourself some cabo wabo tequila. the shit is so damn smooth. no harsh, knock you on your ass aftertaste with cabo wabo...it'll impress your mother-in-law. i might be partaking in all this stuff tomorrow night...my bachelor party has arrived. and i have no f'ing clue as to what i'm doing or where i'm going...just the way i like it.

I've been on a red wine jag for the past year or so. At games I regress to my beer and shot days, but when I drink socially, I've been enjoying Italian Reds lately.
