Getting promoted.
If I remember correctly, many of you are military members. I just found out that I have been selected for Gunnery Sergeant, and I should be promoted around Aug/Sept. Recently, a friend of mine in the Navy re-enlisted for another 4 years, and Toby Keith is the one that swore him in. With that being said, I want to one-up him.
How could I get Redskins player to pin my cheverons on during a formation? I thought about the Youtube invite route, like several Marines did a few years ago inviting people to the MC Ball. Any clues? Or, am I way far off with this request?

Re: Getting promoted.
Congratulations, thank you sincerely for serving our country. Email RGIII via the Redskins, I'm guessing he'd be happy to.
Oh, and post pictures. |

Re: Getting promoted.
Congrats and thanks for your service. I agree with RR, your best bet would be contacting the Redskins directly or contacting RG3/the Redskins player of your choice directly through Twitter. Good luck!

Congratulations!
I would contact the player of your choice through email. If you go public, the player would probably be besieged with requests. Just my opinion. |

Re: Getting promoted.
I would guess they already are but RGIII has a very pro-military outlook, he can see you're the real deal. He wouldn't be pinning a Combat Infantryman badge on.
Dude would get as much of a kick out of it as you would. Ok, possibly a little less of a kick. Hey SS, you know the system, what is the best approach (other than sexual favors)? |

Re: Getting promoted.
Thanks for the info. I was actually stationed where he was born, Okinawa Japan. I'll look into it.
