Right now, it looks like it's going to stay in Ashburn. When Coach Gibbs was hired, he said he was strongly considering staying at Redskins Park for training camp. For one, it's very popular with the players, since they get to spend a little more time with their families. It's also easier for the whole team and staff logistically, since they have everything they need at Redskins Park.

One thing that hasn't been settled is how much of training camp will be open to the public. Gibbs has been known to hold closed practice sessions, and has been said to be considering closing a significant portion of training camp to the public. He will try to be fair about it, realizing that training camp is a big deal for the fans. The fans were a little spoiled by Spurrier, though, who kept the entire training camp session open to the public. I would expect that as much as half of training camp could be closed to the public this year. That's just based on Gibbs' apparent anxiety over the upcoming season, and the enormous task of establishing comradery with a new team and a lot of new faces, while installing a completely different offensive and defensive system, as well as a whole new way of doing things. I'd imagine all of that is a little easier without the distractions that a thousand or more fans can present.
