Re: Franz Gone
We are now doomed! I think this means we can only win maybe 2 or 3 games this year. Pack it in boys the season's over before it started!

Re: Franz Gone
That's a shame. He was always a great back-up.

Re: Franz Gone
If that's the end of our losses for the year... I'll be a happy camper.

Re: Franz Gone
Yeah he added depth but I am sure we can find a suitable replacement. We're not talking about Ronnie Lott or anybody.

Re: Franz Gone
Sounds good...I am guessing he is a Greg Williams guy from his stint up there. Means he probably knows the defense pretty well and won't have too much of a learning curve. Good depth guy who probably more than adequately replaces Franze.

Re: Franz Gone
What a disaster this offseason has been, Franz was a guy we absolutely needed to bring back.

Re: Franz Gone
I guess this offseason has been a huge success for you Matty? It's been an F from every aspect. Retaining defense and making slight changes to the offense was all we needed! Franz isn't exactly the straw that broke the camel's back though.

Re: Franz Gone
Because of all the injuries last year, we ended up about 4 deep at the safety positions. We have Taylor, Bowen, Clark, Lott, Doering, and Wilson on the roster right now. Franz is nice, but I think we'll survive.

Re: Franz Gone
I will never get the Dallas game he was warming up in the endzone pregame and a fan hollered at him "HEY DENNIS", even he laughed at the fan...

Re: Franz Gone
The other offseasons got us key players like Washington, Griffen, Springs, Thomas, Portis, etc. Which were great pickups. I don't feel we should have crazy spending sprees every year, but retaining our guys should be key!
