Draft Post Once again Baby!

This is what I like to do while I wait for the April Draft.
Now after hearing the Joe Gibbs Interview I came up with a Draft Board of who we may be Targeting. To the forum: who do you guys like to see us get and or who do you think we should be or are targeting. Thanks to TAFKAS (if thats what u changed ur named 2) for comming up with that draft spreadsheets, it keeps me content until the seasons starts agian.

Anyways, this time I looked at the positions and named 10 people who the Skins may be targeting and a brief reason why so here it is.

WR
1BraylonEdwards Michigan
2Mike Williams USC
3
4

Braylon And Mike are obviouly on the Redskins Draft board if they become Avialable at the 9 spot.
Troy Williamson has reportedly had a interview with the staff before proday. He fast, has good size, and is explosive. He would also give us a chance to move down and get a second round.

Re: Draft Post Once again Baby!

i would say it's either a wr ( williams or williamson ) a cb ( rolle or pac-man ) or the skins trade out of the 9 spot to somewhere in the twentys , plus pick up a 2nd rounder. i like all three possibilities. if the rumor of s. moss getting a huge contract is true then i would say drafting a wr at 9 is the least likely to happen of my three possibilities.

Re: Draft Post Once again Baby!

if we get courtney brown things on our draft board will change greatly. He will be able to bring needed pressure to the qb making the cornerback position less of a priority over a offensive pick in the first

besides a wr , i don't see the skins drafting an offensive player with the 9th pick. who would they take on offense besides a wr ?

A middle lb to keep a look out for my boy from UGA Odell Thurman. Seriously doubt we have a shot at him. But he is a huge force in the middle.

Re: Draft Post Once again Baby!

I would like to see us get Derrick Johnson or Darryl Blackstock or Matt Jones. Jones is versatile. Could play in the slot, even TE, H-back, and if all the QBs got hurt,he could go there.Besides he is a chsracter and that would be good for the team.

Derrick Johnson will not be available at the 9th pick, and Blackstock is at best a 2nd string OLB, which we don't need, I say Mike Williams all the way, we need a big, physical type of reciever, or we need to trade down and try to get williamson and another pick, either way I think we need to get a big wide out

Possibly a Tightend which I doubt...
A gaurd as well which would shock alot of people. but with the line sowed up Ramsey is capable of picking apart any defense in the league. His skill are extremly similar to manning or bledsoe in his prime in that aspect.

Merriman is a potential outside linebacker. but he is explosive and large enough to play defensive end. If we do trade down, and I dont think that we will, then he could be a late 1st round pick. He had a great combine.
