coles avatar.

i'm sure it's been brought up, and he's the subject polled the most wanted to go away, but still seeing coles as an avatar is painful and disturbing. i know our team (and WR corps) aren't complete yet, but the coles situation was so ugly i think the team (and us fans) need to do what it can to get past it. coles who? please don't remind me.

Re: coles avatar.

We should add another option to the poll of topics we wish would go away, just behind Spurrier is the avatars for me, LOL

All avatars will be revamped this summer once the rosters are set and we have some fresh player pics. But for CRT3 we'll be coming up with a very special Morton tribute that only he will have, j/k.

Hold tight guys.

Re: coles avatar.

i pressed the coles button on that poll so hard, almost broke the mouse. difficult to get over him when we have to see him on our favorite team site. think my post is wholeheartedly in the spirit of that poll.

as much as you hate to hear about the avatars, your avatar rank system (and thankful restraint on having custom ones) is a big reason for warpath's success.

Re: coles avatar.

Speaking of Coles, I heard he actually wanted to go to the Eagles. I was talking to a friend of mine who talks with him quite often and he said Coles was originally aiming to go there if he had become a free agent.

I heard rumors about Cowboys and Giants too, not sure how much water those arguments hold.

Re: coles avatar.

Matty, like I said when I first joined the site, hit me up when you want to make avatars. I can make some backgrounds/icons for anyone that wants also.

Now Matty what do you have planned for me. Please divulge this info. I have dropped the subjecct but are you telling me that I might have my very own Avatar? Thanks dude I appreciate it. Plus I am only 66 post away, so by the time you change it it just won't matter. So my suggestion as always is PLEASE CHANGE NOW AND GET RID OF THE COLES ONE WHILE YOUR AT IT!!!

After a long discussion and a lot of ether huffing, the Moderator staff has decided Morton will be your avatar he retires.

Re: coles avatar.

Can my avatar be a dictionary?

Can we change my name to Merriam-Webster?

Actually Matty, for guys like me that have a number in their name, What about allowing us to have a number as an Avatar? Use the Redskins number font on white or burgandy background. I suppose that would be 198 more images to store, but an idea for you to toss around(or out the door).

Re: coles avatar.

How about we keep the avatar system the same and not trash this site up like hailredskins.com and extremeskins.com. It's just an avatar guys.

Oh alright. Maybe change the ranking system so people get new Avatars faster.

I also really like the idea of having an Old School and New School set.

Like Gibbs, Williams, Riggins, Monk, Byner, Dave Butz, Manley

Then the new and current guys.

Re: coles avatar.

current system is perfect. just should stay current with the roster is all. like smootsmack being able to change his name.

when CRT or anyone else had a problem with their avatar, it just gave them incentive to come up and participate in the board more, that's why it's always been good. coles is the anti-skin right now, so thats the only reason for the fuss.

i'm super happy with ST, until his next big drama/contract issue comes up....

Re: coles avatar.

If it were possible I would perfer just to keep Sean Taylor always until he leaves the team. So far I have 2 Full size Redskins helmet signed by him, and I am working on getting a jersey with his autograph.

I like this system as well! Especially the silly blue helmets! I dislike the Avatars (pics?) over in Hailredskins.com, but spend a good bit of time there anyway. I only frequent extremeskins when someone has a link to a story, like the cousinvinnie story up and running now. Best insight into the tiny little mind of cousinvinnie that I've ever seen. I don't disrespect him quite as much now! From everything that I've read, he is not so much a "Yes-man", he is more of a coordinator of sorts. Then, he says "Yes" to LDS!

8588, just don't change your name. ST's been pretty volatile the whole time here and is already upset about his contract. he's got his new agent prepped to change it next season ...
