Is Brian Orakpo career as a Redskin possibly over

NFL Redskins concerned with Brian Orakpo's pectoral muscle - ESPN

If it is torn again you can't sign him to a long term deal

We have other areas of need greater than pass rusher anyway.

Wouldn't have signed him to a long term deal if he was the healthiest he had ever been.

This is who we should sign if the Lions don't franchise him:

Ndamukong Suh

They aren't going to sign him to a long term deal anyways. (regardless of his health)

This tweet says it all:

@JsteelznSkinz

Continual Pectoral injuries are from poor technique and not honing your craft as a pass rusher. #Redskins Orakpo

I imagine he's lost between 20-25 mil in guaranteed money this year on the open market. He might get 10 mill guaranteed now, but probably could have gotten 25-35 this past year.

He probably should've been gone after last season.

Yeah, another team will probably pick him up. The guy's not awful, he's just not a playmaker anymore.

Yea, because highly paid D-linemen, with bad attitudes always works out well for the Skins.
