It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
I know this game means nothing and I'm assuming our starters won't play much but I do want to go in hot and beating dallas once this yr. I'll be down there to watch us streak into the playoffs. Httr

Nothing would be better than playing this game like a preseason game #4. Let Dallas know they aren't worth the time of day.

Dez on IR.
I'd like to see us shit stomp them so badly that it wounds their collective spirit well into next season. But not at the risk of starters. So I would love to see our backups hand them a soul-crushing loss.

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
Sounds like most will be playing at least a half.
Can the Redskins rest their starters? If they do, who plays? | CSN Mid-Atlantic but one thing is that we really want to rest the offensive line, but if you do that the qb is probably gonna be killed, so you start Colt(?) but then what, you have Kirk ready to go in if Colt gets hurt. Seems shaky... |

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
I think kirk wants to play and I'm sure jay will start the starters for the half then pull them out. Sounds crazy but those guys should still get some PT in before the playoff game imo

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
In theory a week off helps a team. aside from letting a team play someone in two weeks that was too injured to play that week, i don't see the advantage. seems like teams play better not having the week off.
I don't want the skins to rest players during the dallass game, unless we are up 3 TDs. |

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
I dont know how to feel about resting starters honestly... i dont want anyone hurt... at all not even fuckin dinged up... but i dont want them to lose steam either, catch 22 man ... catch 22

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
Reading some of the quotes from Cousins today it sounds like they kind of knew as a team they blew it against Dallas by not being very aggressive and tried to beat a bad team by playing things close to the vest.
Something tells me they are going to come up on Sunday and for one half let the fireworks attempts go off and then sit the starters for the second half regardless and just let the chips fall where they may. |

So you are content with the record books showing another potential loss to Dallas?
Wow....shaking my head. Some of you numptys are really drunk on playoff juice.

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
There is a big difference IMO between the whole team having a bye and resting starters. Not sure if this team has shown enough to tell me they can pick up momentum if the team has a shitty week.

Re: It's Dallass week! (Part 2)
I admit I like the idea of beating them so bad that Jerry has to fire Garrett, but this game has zero meaning for the Skins, and seeing Trent, Reed, or KC get injured on some loony play would be an awful way to go into the playoffs. Trent already seems banged up, but if you let him sit, do you really want KC getting blitzed like last time with TW? And Reed has been great, but beating Dallas isn't worth the risk of a cheap shot by Dallas players (and yes, I think some would do that - Hardy for one)
