So what's indy do with luck? I'd franchise him and see what he's got next year

Re: Week 17
If they can afford the $20M or so fine, or just re-sign him if you're convinced he's your guy.

Re: Week 17
My issue is his TOs. He's led the league since he came in. This yr he was really bad so that's a tough call

Re: Week 17
It's not a question of "He sucks" it's more of "How much do you pay him?"

Re: Week 17
I've been a fan of his so I'm sticking to my guns and saying he will be great but he's got to show it next year

Luck showed improvement every year until this season. Last season he was very good. Basically unless he kicks it up a notch, Luck is starting to look like Eli Manning without so much durability. Not elite, and a turnover machine, but a good QB. Andrew Luck: Career Stats at NFL.com Eli Manning: Career Stats at NFL.com |

Re: Week 17
What Andrew Luck needs is an OL. Remember what people were saying about Cousins last year? What a difference a solid OL makes. Luck with an OL like ours or Dallas would be deadly and yes he's had a shoulder injury pretty much all year.

Re: Week 17
The Colts' front office has had the belief that they were one or two players away from being a perennial contender (see T. Richardson acquisition); while in reality they've have had many needs and Luck was basically carrying the team on his shoulders.

Re: Week 17
their OL is bad. they really need to fix that. regardless though, you can't get rid of luck. once you find a qb you've got to hold on until he shows for sure that he has it or he doesn't.

Luck's early-season injuries worse than thought Dude shouldn't have been playing to begin with. That said, it seems their GM is pretty bad to say the least. He keeps building a "soft" team much like Polian did when he was there. Values the skill positions more than he does the OL/DL. This is one thing I love about Scotty McC. He's building a big nasty strong team to punish people on gamedays.
