He could be the best CB in the entire draft! Mackenzie Alexander...

Pick 21 seems high for the best corner in the draft.

It does....but he could fall to the Redskins. The projections will probably change as we get closer and closer to the draft.

Marcus Peters wasn't the first CB taken last year

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

mock drafts right now are so far off that i'm not going to put too much stock in it. if you want accuracy, rang's record is way better than kipers. we could use another db though.

1st round pick if you have a choice between (lets say near equally graded) CB--WR--DL--ILB--S who do you pick?

e.g.~A'Shawn Robinson DL---Michael Thomas/Treadwell/Corey Coleman WR/Josh Doctsun---Reggie Ragland LB--Kyle Fuller/Mackenzie Alexander CB--Sua'a Cravens SS

We're taking a DT in the first round.
Mel Kiper is a pin head.

First of all, I would certainly go defense. It would be very hard for me to pass on A'Shawn Robinson but I would go with Reggie Ragland. We need a star on defense and I think Ragland could be that star. He could do the most things to help us. He is good against the run, he has proven that he can cover TE's, and he can rush the passer. He has even been used as a DT by Alabama on passing downs.

p.s. Here's an idea: If Junior Galette recovers and is re-signed, then move Smith from OLB to DE (at least on passing downs) and draft Reggie Ragland to play ILB. That should make our defense stronger.

Kendall Fuller may be available at 21. I wouldn't mind him there if we want a corner

Mock drafts at this point are ridiculous. Way too early.

That is true, but you know it's the off-season now so that is what you will see everywhere.

I'm not really blown away by the WR Thomas and treadwell. They don't seem like 1st round picks. Nor do I see Ragland or Kyle fuller as first round guys. Maybe Ragland is a fringe first round.

But the Clemson class...Alexander, Lawson and Dodd.ashwn Robinson, Oregon's de...those guys look like first round talents. If we go WR, I like wil fuller at Notre dame

i see no reason to go WR in the 1st. WR's also don't usually contribute (in a big way) in year 1 fwiw.
