What a waste of talent. Certainly not the first time for stories like this one. I'm sure someone else will pick him up though. Don't even think about it Dan!

Wow. Receivers seem to have a lot of issues.

Extremely talented but also an extreme headache for any team.

Re: Koren Robinson on His Way Out of Seattle

I think he has a lot of talent and I would sign him for the right price. Guys with proplems early in their carreer often straighten out on their second team. Look at Chris Carter when he went from Philly to Minnesotta. I would not give the guy any kind of signing bonus, but what's the harm in bringing him to camp for a look? The Redskins still need a #1 WR and this guy has the talent to develop into a #1 if he gets his head on straight.

That is also true. I don't see him as having the same type of chronic problems TO-like people have.

I would have to say that with the amounts of money these young guys get paid I would of had a hard time keeping my nose clean. Its alot to ask of these kids and most of them do a pretty good job. You have to think that most have come from nothing and never realy had much before the NFL and just think of the pressures they get from their friends back home that will never amount to much.

Maybe they should watch the 49ers training camp video?

It's not too hard to stay out of trouble. Simply don't carry guns, don't hang out with people who carry guns, don't drink and drive, don't hang out with people who drink and drive, don't get in fights, don't hang out with people who get in fights, and generally obey laws.

I can name a bunch of businessmen who got rich at a young age through their entrepreneurial genius, and you don't see them getting into trouble. Sure, you have the occasional white-collar criminal fraud case, but by-and-large the money is not what makes people get into trouble. It's a lack of sound judgment, and in almost all circumstances, those players who get in trouble in the NFL had questionable upbringings and less-than-ideal parental guidance as young'ns. It's not hard to stay out of trouble, you just have to use your head.

Re: Koren Robinson on His Way Out of Seattle

I've been waiting for Koren Robinson to break out for some time now. He's so talented. I'd definitely take a look at him if the price was right. Or give him a mediocre contract as long as there are clauses that he must make team meetings unless excused, etc (if the NFLPA would even go for that)

This guy is just another Rod Gardner...we obviously don't need him. I also think he has a problem with his eyes wich is why he wears that visor and drops so many passes.

Let him be someone else's problem. Doesn't seem like a guy Gibbs would be interested in anyway.

Re: Koren Robinson on His Way Out of Seattle

i would love to have him on team. this guy has so much potential that its aint funny. he could in and be our best receiver hands down. i was just waiting for the opportunity to get this guy in because i knew that his days were numbered in seattle. he is tall and fast but needs some work on his hands. for the right price with incentives i think that we give him a look.

Re: Koren Robinson on His Way Out of Seattle

well i see it, if koren comes to washington, he will be so close to home, remember, he came from NC state and maybe he's a kid that doesnt like living thousands of miles away from home. plus being much closer to home and having gibbs as a coach instead of Holmgren the (ill punch your ass in the face coach) will help him. just a thought, i dont like mental cases (like owens or moss) but this guy is still very young and far away from home with a coach that is a dick. it might work, but i say we atleast try
