Would anybody be interested in a #FireBruceAllen advertising campaign?
Hey guys,
So me and my buddy were talking the other day, and the idea of a fan protest / march / event popped into our heads. We know that the proposed fan march from a few years ago fizzled out, but we then wondered on what would happen if we could find a billboard somewhere down around redskins HQ territory to advertise "#FireBruceAllen". With Billboards sort of out of style, my friend came across a company in Leesburg that offers mobile advertising. For around $300.00 a day, you can have one of their vans / trucks drive for 7 hours a day, in a route that you get to pick, with the advertising slogan of your choice. We obviously thought of having #FireBruceAllen printed on the van and have it drive around / nearby redskins park. Would any of you guys be interested in something like that? If we are not breaking any rules or laws, and don't have to worry about getting sued, etc., we are considering doing a go fund me to finance the van to advertise for a week at some point before the upcoming training camp. Please let me know what you think.

I just don't think there is any positive to this, I'm sure Dan and Bruce know the fans hate them.

they did this (or someone on this board planned to do this) around VC's end of era.
Unless you change Snyder's need for an up-close buttkisser/sycophant you need and will have a BA/VC type under Snyder in the chain of command. DS knows the deal, and he has set it up the way he wants it. The fact is this is who the Skins will be. Have a good off-season. |

Billboards aren't out of style. And a bigger statement than mobile. I'd contribute a small amount for that.

Re: Would anybody be interested in a #FireBruceAllen advertising campaign?
This is right up my alley as I own an advertising agency. Boards are not out of style. There isn't a large inventory in the DC market. There are some in Manassas and off Rt 1 near Woodbridge but those are VERY expensive. There are tons in the Richmond and the Tidewater markets. It would be funny to have one while they're in training camp. Digital boards are cheaper, maybe around a couple thousand for 4 weeks. I'll give you some free advice if you were to ever get this off the ground. Do it digitally. You could pound it on the phones and tablets, even do a fence around Ashburn so only the people in that area get it. But it does seem a bit petty and a waste of time.. not to mention money.

Aye, if you hit the right outlets on a campaign trail you could get enough fans (maybe) that it would only cost a little bit per person. But, who would be willing to spearhead (no pun intended) he operation? Prolly not many ppl but there are the few out there who are eager to get their 15 minutes.

Might as well flush your money down the toilet. Better yet find a cause that will impact someone in a positive way.

It's gone beyond #FireBruceAllen....it's about to reach the degenerate stage of #BoycottRedskingames....a youtuber named Skins Fan All Day took it a step further and his aim is to bleed Dan Snyder to the point to where he fires Allen and get a replacement or sell the team.

There's nothing wrong with using a small amount of money for personal satisfaction. I'd rather do that then eat a fucking cheeseburger McDonald's lol. Nothing wrong with a couple thousand fans putting in $5 to put up a giant #SellTheTeamDan billboard.

The best way to get the owners attention is to just stop buying his product. We as consumers have a choice. We don't have to go to games or buy any merchandise. It's already being done. All this other stuff is a bunch of nonsense. Use your common sense and stay home. It ain't about money cause he'e beyond wealthy. But to make him look bad with an empty stadium? That is more powerful than money.

Re: Would anybody be interested in a #FireBruceAllen advertising campaign?
Lol that thing looks like shit. It's not even color coordinated (looking) in the photo haha. Hard to see but I think a digital billboard would be bigger and better.... And no one expects it to "work". It's about putting a collective voice out there and at the very least giving the finger to Dan. The above example is a poor one and that's being generous. Thats the lamest attempt ever lol.
But hey, valiant effort and appreciated from a disgruntled fan. A giant billboard would be worth y $5. If there were a thousand more of me? Great.
