Cam Newton to Skins? Predictions and Opinions
Lets put all the Cam talk here rather than flood the threads.
Per Josina Anderson, the Skins have had discussions but at this time we would not pursue. I feel we would have stronger interest if he is released, personally, I’m against him here. Too banged up and he isn’t a pure passer versus the potential of Haskins. I believe the Chargers and the Bears would have more interest…better fits.

Re: Cam Newton to Skins? Perdictions and Opinions
I personally have never cared for him, so I really, really hope he does not come here...even as a backup.

Re: Cam Newton to Skins? Perdictions and Opinions
My guess is he goes to the Chargers. I can't think of any reasonable scenario that lands him here.

Re: Cam Newton to Skins? Perdictions and Opinions
I would take him on a back up or very low end starter salary, but I am pretty sure he thinks he is worth $25 mil+. So the point is moot.

I don't want Cam. Selfish, me first, isn't accurate, injury prone...

Re: Cam Newton to Skins? Perdictions and Opinions
Its actually the same critique...injury history. Also, you take away Cam's run threat ability, you take away half his value as a playmaker.
Its a pass from me

Re: Cam Newton to Skins? Perdictions and Opinions
Yeah I get the obvious connection and why this is a story but I highly doubt we'd bring him in.
