New thread worthy. If I'm wrong I'll eat all the crow and then some. Also will be the greatest deep-fake in name reveal history. Evidence 1 Evidence 2 Evidence 3

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
So how come jeep that has a Commander vehicle is not complaining about the name being taken already or Biden and his dog?

Because it isn’t a trademark infringement

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
I know the Biden is a moot point, just a dog name and is a joke, but what about Jeep? Isn’t a vehicle name trademarked like a teams name?

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
It is but nobody is gonna confuse a vehicle with a football team. So it's not really infringing on Jeep's territory.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
I think an NFL franchise had the mean to win the battle a soccer team was willing to fight, don't you? And if the trademark issues really scared them away, was Washington Wolves really that hard to get? Would have pleased a lot of people and calmed those who found Redwolves crindgeworthy.
Anyway, moot point by now. Just think it's fair to say this whole 2 years fan engaging process was a scam if they ignore the overwhelmingly fan favorite option and pick something absolutely NOBODY was talking about before it became the most likely option. Heck, I ain't jumping ship, so I'll get used to it. Just surprised to see so many people defending them on this choice which contradicts everything they've been telling us for 2 years.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
Honestly the W and the jerseys are pretty cool. I love the black aspect to it. It’s not the Redskins anymore, time for a new brand. If you have stuck through all the bullshit we have over 25 years, you can adjust to this.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
This feels like being seperated for the past few years and today is where the judge makes the divorce final. I feel so numb towards this team.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
I guess something is wrong with me .. but I like Commanders.. but what I will like more is winning ..I refer to them as Washington or Skins , the nickname is no biggie .. I blame the culture for all this crap anyways .. there are some probably out there now trying to figure out how commanders is offensive and they will protest that .. the biggest gripe I have with this whole ordeal is it could have been done is 90 days vs 2 years ..

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
The Sports Junkies have photos of the uniforms on their Facebook page. If they are for real all I can say is what a disappointment. But I guess I didn't expect anything different.
