9-8
Wentz has a solid season (28 Tds 13 INTS) Defense will keep us down, JDR sucks

4-13.
Howell will finish the year as QB1. Scott Turner will be fired by Snyder on Halloween, a day after the Colts humiliate the team and rub the Wentz trade in our faces. Rivera is just here to cash checks. |

Re: 2022 Commanders Season Prediction Thread
I refuse to believe that this team won't improve on last year's record. I think the overall shade being thrown towards Wentz, and the team in general, is way over the top. You can argue that it's warranted, but I'm not buying into it. I think the defense will surprise...not top 10 surprise, but top 15. I think the offense takes a big step forward - averaging 25+ points per game. I have them winning half of the "Wentz revenge" games, losing two close games to PHI. They will sweep the NYG, and split with DAL.
11- 6, which will be good enough for a Wild Card spot. Jacksonville - W @ Detroit - W Philadelphia - L @ Dallas - W Tennessee - L @ Chicago - W Green Bay - L @ Indianapolis - W Minnesota - W @ Philadelphia - L @ Houston - W Atlanta - W @ New York - W BYE New York - W @ San Francisco - L Cleveland - W Dallas - L |

6-11 or 7-10. No way does this team have a winning record. I just don't see it. Way too many holes starting w/ the QB.

Did you know Norv is living in Del Mar? Maybe Scott can join him out there when Dan gives him the ax mid season.

Re: 2022 Commanders Season Prediction Thread
I'll admit it's fairly optimistic, but like I said, I'm not buying into all the hate. I just don't think there's any way they don't have a better record than last year.
The offense should be better than last year with Wentz, a true #2 in Dotson, a healthy Samuel, and basically the same running game - which will only get stronger should B Rob come back at some point. The defense should be better as well. With the exception of the second Dallas game, they were pretty decent down the stretch last year despite all the injuries and COVID issues. |

Re: 2022 Commanders Season Prediction Thread
I think it will be on the coaches one way or the other and it will be noticeable. I'm hoping to compete for the division but I don't know. We get a lot of bullshit officiating too, as do quite a few teams, and I don't care if it's "crying" or not.. there's plenty of bad calls that build up and cost games at key points. They've done it to us for years... that and some REALLY BLATANT piss poor "reviews".
Coaches need to scheme well enough to give our guys a chance. I am NOT that confident in this. Refs suck ass and it's an uphill battle every year. The talent is here for the most part and the defense can be coached up, work hard but still will need to be put in the right spots. I hope for 9 or 10 wins.. I feel like 7 or 8.. I don't know hard to tell.
