Re: Cards post game
EB has to be much better with this OL. Gotta play to what you're talent allows you to do.
This line is a bad combo with a green QB. Howell needs to develop a faster internal clock, but that's unsurprising. He doesn't get dejected and give up. He made some good plays too. Defense did their jobs. Good stuff. Glad we kept Payne. Him, JA, and Sweat are a great trio. Sweat has to stay too. Franchised or extended.

Re: Cards post game
You pretty much said it all. Yet, this win was more than just any old win to me because of what this game represented after more than 20 years in football purgatory. I really needed it. Thank you, Commanders players!

Re: Cards post game
First regular season game with EB and you have expect some growing pains early in the season.
Howell has to release the ball faster or take off running for positive yards. Don’t make cuts or try and fake anyone out. You are not Barry Sanders. The better NFL defenses will eat him alive. The defense looked ok against a scrub QB. They have to play smarter and avoid the turnovers, if there is any chance against the good teams. |

Re: Cards post game
I do like that after 6 sacks and 3 turnovers, and offensive adjustment was made to stop throwing the ball 70% of the time and run. Without that adjustment, we lose. Whether EB made that call or someone else, we may never know. Running for a field goal to go up by 4, just doesn't seem like EB style to me

Re: Cards post game
OK Debi Downer time.
We had trouble with what many consider the worst team in the league right now. The OL is bad, really bad, probably as bad if not worse than last year's line. Howell really didn't play that well, but since it is only his 2d game will need to see more. Logan Thomas dropped how many passes?? I think 4 and maybe more. |

Congratulations ! Didn't get to watch the game but any win is a good win and being the first game of the year is a great start.

I agree and SH is 2-0 as a QB in the NFL. I don’t care about stats and all that, wins matter and so far he’s doing that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Cards post game
Super happy we won. Pretty bad if they had lost. But, oline not good at all. Howell must get rid of the ball quicker. Really hope to see that v. Denver.
Arizona's defense played better than expected really. |

Re: Cards post game
If some are not convinced with Howell. Would you rather have Cousins, Wentz or Heinecken? None of them, rather have SH. He will prove it the more he plays.

start turner over thomas. enough of the former qb at TE experiment. thomas is a nice story and all but turner is ready to come in and ball. o-line is horseshit. if ron is kept after this year he needs to be stripped of gm duties. |

He’s a playmaker and a kid that will get better with reps. His arm talent is better than anyone we’ve had since RG3. Cousins is a damn good QB tho so can’t hate him too much lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
