Kliff parted ways, and Joe Whitt jr fired

Let’s go!

Wow. Whitt is not a surprise at all, but I am surprised at KK< despite the recent reports. I hope they have plans (or at least top candidates) for successors.

Who are the best candidates to replace them? We're not likely to attract someone with HC credentials or current coordinators that are likely in line for a HC job, so it's most likely guys already available. Who's your candidate shortlist?

Bye felicia!

Better hope we get good replacements or we're (Dan Quinn especially) fucked.

Keim saying they will likely look outside to hire new OC. Not 100% sure but likely.

Found that interesting as they have some experience on staff.

I think Peters wants Kyle - style offense he saw in SF. Under center, zone run, play action boots. I’d prefer that as well

Well, if so, then expect Dart, who doesn't seem to consider self-preservation important, to be hurt for the rest of his career. I like KK and think his offense can be intriguing, but it does put the QB at risk.

They fired the OL coach Bobby Johnson too.

Don’t have a big problem with KK moving on, I’m guessing they want an offense with more ball control/TOP that won’t leave so much on the defense. I thought for the most part he did a good job here, certainly can’t argue with the results last year, even this year they were middle of the pack despite all the injuries. I wish him well.

Re: Both Kliff Kingsbury and Joe Whitt Gone!

While i am a bit surprised it actually happened, i am ecstatic we are moving away from Kingsbury!!! I just think we need someone to protect JD5 a bit more and to run (with RB's, not QB's) a bit more! Get under center a bit more!! Some play action would be nice and JD5 will benefit greatly from it! Get someone from the Shanahan tree! There was not much surprise from KK's offense. The quick tempo, no huddle was nice, when things were clicking. Not so much when things were going poorly.

Whitt too, obviously!!! But that was a no brainer and already written down!

If this is true, GOOD.
