Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

For what it's worth: 14-0 Pitt in the first MINUTE AND A HALF of the game!

Donovan throws a weak INT from his own 10.
THe iggles go 3-out.
Pitt scores on the insuing punt.

Hope this is a sign of things to come!

The score is now 20 to 7.....pour it on Steelers.....

What really ticked me off was the NFL Network said that after the T.O. story broke football fans from across the country expressed their opinion on the situation, but now everyone is telling the network they are sick and tired of hearing abut T.O. So what story did the NFL Network do next...a chronological story of the T.O. saga
That shows how much the fans opinion matters

McNabb actually looked good after the INT. As I said in some other post, he's the key. THe guy is a great QB, IMO. I hate him for it, but thems the facts.

Nice to see Pitt samcking them on teams. (2 returns for TDs--Antonio Brown time?)

Yep. He looked very sharp and began to complete some nice throws against the Steeler starters. Though they did mention that Dick Lebeau's defense is pretty vanilla tonight, as expected. That new receiver for the Eagles out of U. of Georgia, Reggie Brown looks good too.

As much as I hate to admit it, Philly is by far the class of the NFC East.

Re: Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

i started watching late.

Y is ward on the sidelines?

did they come to an agreement?

hines ward actually has an argument for deserving more money, if Ward can come to a resonable agreement it makes T HOE look more like a bitch

Re: Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

Hines apparently spoke to Cowher and felt that the Steelers will do the right thing in the long term. So he came into camp. Also, he apparent;y was going nuts not practicing--he really seems to love the game.

What a difference from TO! Everyone on the team was happy to see him, and he actually is going on a good-faith claim by the steelers. He seems like a class act.

they said to come to camp and they'll re open talks, ward said he felt awful staying at home, so he's back and they're going to try to work something out i guess. I hope the FO isn't leading him on... he's better than 1.4mill a year.

Re: Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

no.

that front office has been leading him on for YEARS, Espn talked about how they were flat out lying to him saying that they will give him money later.
I like this guy and i know he is worth a hail of a lot more than what he gets

Re: Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

Just like I'm not taking a ton out of our first preseason game, I wont take much out of this one either. However, if this is a sign of things to come, I'll be a happy man.

Re: Pitt vs Philly on ESPN

I hope that every team in our division is good this year. I liked how it used to be that the road to the superbowl went through the NFC East.

The better our division is, the better it will make and prepare us for the playoffs.
