Apple pie or banana cream?

Guys, Lenny P. has weighed in on our pie debate:

Mattyk72, NY: Hi Len, apple pie or banana cream?

Len Pasquarelli: (1:33 PM ET ) chocolate cream, please

http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=9081

I also got this in:

Matt, NY: Hi Len, any thoughts on where just released WR Darnerian McCants may end up? Would Philly be a possible destination since they're thin at WR?

Len Pasquarelli: (1:23 PM ET ) philly could be a possibility . . . can't figure out why this redskins staff never really liked mccants very much . . . i don't think he's a big-time player, but i do think he can play in the league

Nice work Matty!

Chocolate cream? I'll take apple before chocolate cream.......

What do you guys think about McCants going to the Chiefs? He could fit in real well over there. Or Seattle.

Re: Apple pie or banana cream?

Apparently he wanted to dance around my question of:

"Was the Redskins offensive line just that good or was the Steelers defense just that bad?"

Mattyk72, NY: Len, who would win in an arm wrestling match, you or Chris Mortenson?

Len Pasquarelli: (1:42 PM ET ) mort is better than me in everything, believe me . . . one of the greats

Re: Apple pie or banana cream?

Nick, Northern Virginia: Lenny, Other than the Redskins, did you write any other training camp reviews without actually attending the traning camp?

Len Pasquarelli: (1:43 PM ET ) in the case of the redskins, i attended their scrimmage against the ravens, as was noted in both articles . .. the same was true for the brocos, who i saw in combined workouts with the houston texans . . . sorry if i used the term "camp" loosely . . .

Re: Apple pie or banana cream?

He mentions camp way too much in that article. It lowers his credibility a bit. He hardly mentions how good people look in preseason games when it actually matters (moreso than camp).

Re: Apple pie or banana cream?

Posted this over in Malcolm's thread too.

MLeavey (Owings Mills): Okay Len, I'll bite. Your crazy. What does Mr. Nutjob think about Ray Lewis this season? He's been talking up league MVP honors. Can he make it happen?

Len Pasquarelli: (1:35 PM ET ) based on what i saw in the scrimmage against the deadskins, the guy could be a holy terror again . . . i think it really helps him going back to the 4-3, because he doesn't have to take on blockers as much and can run to the ball . . . also, i think he'll be very effective as a blitzer this year, and will set a career high for sacks

Re: Apple pie or banana cream?

To fair to Pasta, I think the reason he came with that deadskins crack is because alot of Skins fans were on that chat, over at extremeskins they were hounding him with fat jokes, so he decided to shoot back, I thought the deadskins comment was kinda funny.

I stayed away from the low blows. Just no need in my opinion.
