Somebody on eBay selling RFK turf for $5000

http://cgi.ebay.com/Washington-Redsk...QQcmdZViewItem

I already emailed him and told him I didn't think he would make more than $100. for this. Who can authenticate this, and even if you skip that point, why in the world do you pay $5000 for this? Anyone have any answers?

Just reading that description killed me. I remember that 7-1 start and the collapse that followed. How a team can start 7-1 and NOT make the playoffs defies all logic!

So I guess you won't have to worry about missing the game, living in Seattle and all. Im sure its better than watching the 49ers, or whoever u get.

That is a plus for sure. The Hawk's fans at work have been talking smack saying we haven't faced on offense like this one. I say we are not the Cardinals and they haven't seen a defense like this one.

Re: Somebody on eBay selling RFK turf for $5000

It's woorth whatever someone is willing to pay.
To you it may not be worth a thing but to others it may be worth millions.

I TOO have [2] pieces of endzone turf from that game and two ticket stubbs to prove I was there. If that guy gets $5,000 look for my truf on the market next!

hahaha! I remember when I met Joe Crisp at Draft Day last year and handed him a small baggy of "grass". His eyes got real big!

A week or so after that game was Christmas and I gave my grandfather some of the turf. He was such a big Skins fan that his eyes welled up as if I had given him some Baby Jesus manger hay. lol

I'll sell my turf for $3,000 and buy that Sammy Baugh rookie card that is at $2,500.00!

hehehe
Skins fans are best!

peace

That's rediculous...it's dead grass. Basically a pile of dirt. I would sooner pay for something substantial from RFK like a locker or a stadim seat.

That would be cool to have, its just that i don't think anyone would ever buy it at that rediculous price. But then again people buy burnt toast that have images in them for 10000 on ebay

SBF, I got a question for you. You have a lot of vintage stuff. Do you have any vintage posters or know where I could find some nice Skins vintage posters?

Sweet. I want to get a nice wooden frame for one. It would be a nice addition when I finally get a Redskins room set up.
