One thing will never change.
Our offense looks great, but will consistant bad calls from the officials against us ever stop? That safety would have won the game for us. #()*

Yep I agree! I always say that only losers complain about the refs....but in this case, there is no way possible that is an incomplete pass!

Re: One thing will never change.
That and Bill Maas will continue to be the stupidest, most annoying analyst in the game.. Bill, it's raining and wet, we get it. Also, did anyone else catch his 'The Drive happened right here on this field' comment? Uh, genius, not only was that in Cleveland, but the Broncos have a new stadium now..

Re: One thing will never change.
I'd like the league to apologise for the pass interference on Cooley for the TD and the sfaety that we didn't get.

Re: One thing will never change.
I'm just disappointed in our defense. Nothing will erase a 34 yard td, and a 55 yard td from my mind, unless we get a blowout win. Just really disappointed in our run defense, is all. And they still won't play Lavar. What's up with that?

Re: One thing will never change.
I'm not sure how a pro ref could possibly miss the pass interference on Cooley. The ref must have been trying to make up for something. It just isn't possible that he didn't see it. Terrible.

Re: One thing will never change.
Well the thing is, that is what was called on the field, but they reviewed it. There were some BIG TIME homers up there in the review booth, that's all I'm sayin!

Anyway. The refs were terrible but our D looked average at best today. I was getting mad at Williams for the first time for all the bull with LaVar. LaVar is a great cover LB, creates turnovers and is an all pro. I was just watching a special on LBs on comcast. If you can find it watch it. Singletary was on it. He couched Ray Lewis his first 2 years. Sam Huff was feactured also. Anyway, one of the main points they made was, if you have a great LB, you don't change him, you work with who they are and the style they play. Maybe this is the one weak point in Williams style. He can bend and because he cant, he leaves a tallent like LaVar on the bench. |

I think the D started to buckle down in the second half, but the first half they let the Broncos get too many extra yards. Maybe the rain was the reason, but there was just too much poor tackling I thought

I agree, those runs are why we lost the game. Theres no point in talking about a safety if your defense gave up a long run on 4th down for a td, and an even longer run on third for a td..

Re: One thing will never change.
Even Boomer on prime time questioned the call.......of course, no comment from former Bronco player and Bronco fan Tom Jackson
