Westbrook
This guy really scares me, I mean the Eagles might not run much, but thats by design. With Griff out and their passing games injuries, this thing could get ugly. Lamar Gordon is no slouch either. Westbrooke scores on both those Tiki Runs last Sunday...he is shifty has hell, I mean, at times he can break out Barryesque moves in the backfield to avoid tackles
1.Do you think the skins are going to emphasize stopping the run? 2. Will Philly emphasize the run? 3. Also, whats your over under on Westbrooke gaining 100 yards and why? 1. I say no. 2.. I say Yes 3. I say 120 yards. I still think we will win a squeaker, 14-13.

Re: Westbrook
Why did I think Michael when I saw this?
Here's how I'd handle Westbrook. I'd take my weakside LB (his name is LaVar) and run blitz two thirds of the time. I'd shadow the RB with my FS (his name is Sean) and put him in man with Westbrook each time. Either Westbrook picks up the blitz, leaving Sean in a short zone; or he runs to the flat, leaving LaVar on a crash course with McNabb and being covered by a ball-hawking monster. But I'm not GW, so I'm sure he has ideas as well.

Re: Westbrook
Sounds like a good plan Brud, as long as Taylor doesn't return to the ugly "tackling" he had against NY. He looked like a torpedo on way too many plays--arms against his sides trying to tackle guys with his shoulders. He was more fundamentally sound in the earlier games, maybe he just got too emotional last week. Westbrook is a shifty guy and hard to tackle, but I think Taylor is up to the job if he can remember how to tackle.

Re: Westbrook
I say we get back to our run stuffing ways and he only gets 47 yards on 13 carries. They'll be throwing anyway to catch up from the 17 point deficit they'll find themselves in.

Re: Westbrook
Keep the iggle offense off the field. That's how you stop people. Then key on Westbrook, Keep McNabb in the pocket, and DONT GIVE UP THE FRIGGIN BIG PLAY!!!

Re: Westbrook
Yea the keys to the game are namely not killing ourself and then not giving up th e big play. In other words, Limit penalties and turnovers (they have plagued us all season) and make sure that Westbrook doesnt have any big runs on the left side, or on any side for that matter. It helps with T.O. getting a timeout because it takes away a big playmaker from their Offense. Lets do what we did in the beginning of the season, Win time of possesion, keep their Defense on the field most of the night, and score at least 21 points! C'mon Portis and Moss we need you guys to show up this week.
