Thank T.O for the W

Ok I know you all going to start backfire at me but really you have to Thank TO for his stupidity and giving you the W because if he was there lets not say the hole game lets say the last drive you might not get the win at the end (great game ).

Your guys played hard and deserved the Win and actually when a saw TO wsn't going to play I marked it as a W for you but it was closer than I expected.

Also Love seeing L.A (56) there his a force don't care if he freelances he destroys offense game plan and was all over the field.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

T.O. or no T.O. Reggie Brown almost had 100 yards and he had the TD. He would not have been a factor if T.O. was there. So I don't think the T.O. factor mattered that much. The Eagles have found their new T.O. replacement in Brown.

The Eagles just can't run the ball. All you have to do is go after McNabb.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

last year TO had 22 yards (2 catches) in one game and like 69 and a TD in the other... we did hold him down fairly well last year, so i'm not big into wouldda coulda and revisionist history, especially when TO might not play another snap for the iggles.

I mean, we had C griffin out and our #2 DT with a totally gimped foot, portis is probably still hurting etc etc... just not worth going into all that right now.

I think Eagles suspending T.O. for the game last night was a rallying point for the Philly team. They wanted to come together and prove they can win without him. I wouldn't be so quick to discredit our win.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

The Eagles were a good team before TO & they'll be a good team after TO. Consider that they've beat us 7 in a row before last night's game....

I,for one, have no issue awknowledging that it was easier to beat the Eagles w/o TO than with him.

THANKS T.O. FOR THE WIN!

Wow I'm not discrediting your win as I said, I believed you would won that game I even bet in your favor. what I said is that t was a lot closer that I tought and they almost took it away at the end wich brought my attention to the TO factor and yes brown played extremly well but he's not a cluch receiver yet as he proved at the end

I was more worried about the game and that they where out to prove they could win without TO. I think Mcnabb with all his injurys was realy playing hard to get the win without TO.

We're not gonna be the only team that benefits from a lack of T.O. Philly is still no slouch though.

I would just like to graciously point out, don't to presumptive and put your feet up on the coffee table (as you don't want to become an unwelcome guest) without permission. The best TO gets you on last night is Overtime.

OK you thank Antonio Gates and the Chargers first. Go ahead..... Ok now. Why should we thank TO?
This is a clear indication that character is just as important as skill. When the eagles got him they knew his attitude -which is horrible- and that is the same as his skill level. Now lets say he someone dropped a pass, we shouldn't thank them because it is just as much a part of what they bring to the table. I am not gonna feel bad for anyone if courtney brown gets injured because that is what he brings to the table, he can be good but he is always injured.

You probably won't be playing against TO this week and as far as most eagles are concerned TO isn't even part of the team. We beat the eagles, all of the eagles, because TO is not an eagle. TO might not ever wear an eagles jersey again so we beat the EAGLES.

Antonio Gates' suspension was redicoulous atleast this on had meaning.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

in the last drive he gets OT and after that its basicly a flip of the coin and I don't know if I like TO no longer in the team he brought disconfort in the locker room there where fights lack of concentration if they start playing as a team

Well...The Cowboys have them next Mon Night. Let's just wait and see what happens. Dallass is coming off of a bye, also so they should be more than healthy and prepared.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

Actually, McNabb still shredded the Redskins secondary for over 300 yards passing without Terrell Owens.

But they still won. The Eagles replacement for Owens, Reggie Brown, smoked Shawn Springs -- so trust me, they didn't miss a beat w/o T.O.

I swear, if it's not one problem on defense, it's another. One week, the opponents trample the Redskins running the ball, and when the Skins get that under control -- BAMO! -- Springs, Taylor, and Walt Harris play like they'd rather have the night off. Thank God for Ryan Clark and Derrick Dockery. Otherwise, this might have been a different story.

But the story would have been the same with or without Owens.
