Raider Time
Do the Raiders fear us because we can be a formidable adversary (when not commiting NFL suicide), or do they think we are ripe for the picking?

Re: Raider Time
The Raiders have plenty of their own problems starting with their 3-6 record.
If anybody is ripe for the picking it would be the Raiders with that 24th ranked D. Our offense needs to be sharp and run it up on these guys so the D can't blow it. |

Re: Raider Time
I think the Raiders game should be a win, but when Randy Moss watches Sunday's game film, I'm sure he's licking his chops. Granted it will be tougher with Sean Taylor back there, but he has to believe that if he lines up one-on-one with Rogers or Harris he's going for 6.

Re: Raider Time
This should be a win, but I have a feeling we'll see lots of 3+ WR sets with Moss, Porter and the Speedy Curry. We better find a way to stop them!

Re: Raider Time
If the DBs don't show up it's going to be a long game for us. Walt Harris is pathetic, why is he on the roster?

Re: Raider Time
Don't have to worry about Ronald Curry...out again for the season.
The Raiders may be 3-6, but they are 2-2 in their last 4, losing close games to interdivision rivals (I realize 31-17 isn't close, but it was close til LJ broke for that TD late). While their defense may be 24th overall, they will always try to outgun their opponents with their offense. Lamont Jordan is proving himself to be a very good back, and Randy Moss is itching to have a breakout game. The Skins need to work on less giveaways, more takeaways, and not letting receivers get behind them in zone coverage. If they can do this, Brunell should be able to throw all day, open it up for Portis, and give the Skins a big win.

Re: Raider Time
I have to think the Raiders and every other team are going to go deep on us. If we continue to not get pressure on the blitz and leave our corners on the island. One of them are going to get beat over the top. We need to play smart solid ball. We are not getting pressure with the blitz so just rush the 4 keep being solid on stopping the run leave Spring 1 on 1 and double the others with a backer or a safety and a corner. Sounds simple but I am sure it has got to be more complicated. We should play strong at home and win this game.

Re: Raider Time
I dont think we can look past the Raiders. They have a good bit of motivation with Norv vs "the DANNY". Norv is a great play caller and will have the first two drives scripted. They have a few weapons with Moss, Porter, and Jordan. Jordan has really started to play pretty good and the D is not as bad as it was in the beginning of the year. If we come out to soft, we are going to be in for another dogfight. We need to control the clock, like always, and somehow put pressure on Collins. Over the years he has been shakey when he gets hit early and often. If he has time, like Simms did, he will pick us apart even more. Look for a somewhat high scoring game, maybe 35 to 21, in favor of our boys

Re: Raider Time
i see us coming in with a lot of emotion after that loss, trying to redeem themselves. we win this game im almost certain, we have to. the team knows that. this is only the SECOND team this year with a LOSING record we have faced all year. damn tough scheduel

Re: Raider Time
I want Sunday to be the day we begin dominating teams and leaving no doubt that we belong in the playoff hunt. Have that carry over to stuffing LT and beating the Chargers.
