Congrats Fraygeeleeey, no injuries!!!!
I would like to personally congratulate Taylor Jacobs on remaining injury free for one game!!!! Sure, he had a couple of penalties, missed blocks, and poorly run routes, but aren't we asking a little much from what most teams had on their draft boards as a First Round Pick? I mean c'mon, give the guy some time to develop right? Heck, 3 and a half years isn't nearly enough time to figure out if a guy can play we should just be patient with him, that's all. On another note, it sure was good to see LeMar Marshall in pass coverage against Jerry Porter on Sunday. Who needs an underachieving Carlos Rogers to step up when we can just assign a LB to a team's No. 2 receiver.....Nice!!! Oh and Joe, if I haven't said this enough well then maybe its because I haven't said it loud enough so let me try all caps this time: YOU DO NOT PUT YOUR NO. 1 RECEIVER BACK ON PUNT RETURNS!!!!! In addition, what the hell is up with the announcers on Sunday saying that the crowd gave Norv Turner a nice ovation. Why the hell would any Skins fan give that spineless coach an ovation, he was absolutely horrible while he was here. And don't give me that crap about how he took us to the playoffs, with the amount of talent that guy had on the team, a playoff appearance was the least that was expected. Norv Turner reminds me of the stapler guy in the movie The Office.
The season is over, we ain't going to the playoffs, and 90% of us know that. To add insult to injury, we don't have a first round pick either. Soooooo, lets start Carlos Rogers and throw Jason Campbell in there just for shits and giggles. We may as well get the kid some reps. Lets promote anyone and everyone from the practice squad. We may as well give the Broncos the best possible first round pick, heck let's just give them a couple of more picks as compensation on the Champ Bailey deal. Would the last Skins fan in the room please turn out the light on the 2005 season, and close the bottle of Pepto. Sometimes ya just gotta purge yourself of the frustration like a bolemic after a Golden Corral breakfast, it just had to be done.....sorry. |

Yeah I guess we should just cut Jacobs now, I mean c'mon he's had his shot, right?
One start is all we needed to see he can't make it in this league. |

Your welcome Ned Flanders a/k/a Keep It on the Sunny Side Apologist. Im sick of your never question the front office/coaching staff attitude. God forbid someone criticizes the organization or its personnell, you come riding to the rescue, then if you have no defense for your argument you always say that the front office or the staff know way, way more than we do and therefore we shouldn't question anything they do. Well Im sick of it, we as fans have every right to question decisions made by the team, we have every right to our opinions irregardless of whether or not YOU agree with them. You think Fraygeeleey can play in this league, then back it up with facts, not with "well the coaches believe he can play and I have faith in the coaches" that's a chicken s#$t response.

I've questioned the front office/decisions/etc. plenty of times. Try the search function.
As for Jacobs I guess we'll see what the future holds. Personally I wouldn't write him off after one start when the entire offense stunk, but hey to each his own. |

Re: Congrats Fraygeeleeey, no injuries!!!!
And David Patten was tearing it up? Come on. We're kinda stuck with Jacobs here--if you want to rant and rave about it, be my guest. Maybe you'll feel better.
We haven't gotten production out of our #2 or #3 WRs this year at all, whoever was in there. I personally haven't seen enough of Jacobs to want to kick him to the curb, but no doubt yesterday didn't help his cause. But he's going to get snaps from here on out, so we'll find out for sure what the deal is. And that's not a "sunny-side optimist" response--its a realist, pragmatic response. WE HAVE NO OTHER WRs LEFT!

Matt, you ever wonder some times "Is it worth it?"
Why are you being held responsible (it seems) for all that's wrong with the Redskins? |

Re: Congrats Fraygeeleeey, no injuries!!!!
I never said any other of our WRs would be better, I said that its clear that Taylor Jacobs is not a starter in this league, yet another crappy draft pick. The reason I went on a rant about Matt is because he rides to the defense of the coaches and front office on a regular basis, then if you disagree he usually goes with the "Well, they know more than you" argument. Am I grumpy? Hell yes Im grumpy, the Skins will make you that way after having one crappy season after another and pissing away the future in the off season. BRING ON JASON CAMPBELL!!!

Re: Congrats Fraygeeleeey, no injuries!!!!
Dude, my left nut knows more than this front office when it comes to the draft and personnell decisions. Im not gonna go through this debate again in this thread.
