No Second Half Collapse Today
We led this one from start to finish!!! Were able to score in the fourth quarter, and played solid in all three phases. Robert Royal demonstrated he can catch. The only downside: too many stupid penalties. Good to get a win however.

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
We did play pretty well. Although , I feel that our playcalling was similar to the last 3 weeks, its jsut this Rams team happens to be worse than the other teams we have played. I dont know if we can beat Dallas with a passing game that dissapears for 2 quarters. Ok, after writing this, I know we had the miracle in Dallas last time, but seriously, if we want to win 4 in a row, we need to have a consistent passing game.

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
yeah todays win was great, but I feel we are too conservative still, if the Rams didn't suck something awful against the run, we might've lost the game. When we are ahead by 3, Gibbs gets complacent. We need to play in the fourth quarter like we are behind by 10, we need to still attack to finish them off.

I feel the play calling is to conservative, gibbs needs to give musgrave a shot at some of the playcalling

Great to see the running game today and some pass rush. A win is a win.

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
Kept the chains moving in the 4th quarter with maybe not extreme play calling, but sticking with what was working two TDS in the 4th is big for this team. The Post Game show on Comcast reported that from a good source the vets said they wanted to be more aggressive in the 4th quarter during this past weeks meeting. I think we got that today. Brunell/Portis miscue for the safety I thought was a sign of the collapse, but we overcame.

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
Indeed, no collapse...not for a lack of trying, however. I got a really bad feeling when Brunell gave up the safety.

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
This team can determine it's destiny by playing to their full potential. It starts with Gibbs and Breaux in the playcalling. For some reason, Gibbs is hesitant to call play action plays that will get us down the field. Brunell has not thrown an INT in 3 games so Gibbs's lack of confidence should not be for that reason. Next Rock Cartwright MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE BACKFIELD FROM HERE ON OUT! Portis was clearly exhausted by the fourth quarter. This has been when our running has stallled. Gibbs has to get Nehemiah Broughton involved too. Every team has a young RB who gets some touches. Next, Jimmy Farris and Taylor Jacobs have to work harder to get open in order to take advantage of the double coverage on Moss. Lastly, the defense has got to finish strong like they did today. Carlos Rodgers is the difference this week.

Not only will we play superior teams in NYG, DAL, and poss. PHI, the pressure against our heated division rivals will be sky-high. Intensity will be at its fullest. Shit, as a fan, when we play DAL at 7-6 (there I said it, i know we will beat AZ) I get more nervous, anxious, and fired up. This is where we need to play with that killer instinct until its , dear I say, a 3 possession lead. We need to make a big time statement against our division opponents: beat them up, smash mouth, lay them on the ground, Sean Taylor- thuggish-ruggish ball - ain't nothin nice - people style on the way the cops sweat us - style... A win IS a win. thing is: After our heart breaking collapses, we are in a must win situation every week. 4 weeks to make the playoffs and another 4 to win the Super Bowl!!

Re: No Second Half Collapse Today
I think the real reason we won today was because of crucial mistakes i've made in earlier weeks. This week i decided to wear my arrington jersey for good luck. The last three weeks i hadn't been wearing my arrington jersey because it was dirty on gamedays. I think that really helped us win this game.
