Houston Texans
-anyone know what their post apocalyptic plans are for 2006? Cut Casserly, and the rest? Pick up Steve M. since the lions cut him? They should be in good shape to get Reggie Bush.

Re: Houston Texans
I can't understand how the Texans have gotten so bad. I always thought they were one step away from being a really good team (like Cincy being so close and then getting there this year.) I doubt Casserly would be welcomed back to Washington though.

Re: Houston Texans
Although I never thought Dom Capers was a great coach. I figured he would build a solid team that would be contending by now. I'm trying to get a line on Charlie Casserly. I am not sure he would be welcome (as you said). I am not sure we would want him back. After all what part has he played in this fiasco? I would love to know what Joe is thinking??????

Re: Houston Texans
They have a good running back in domanik davis so maybe they'll get reggie bush and trade him for a o-lineman and maybe a couple picks?

Re: Houston Texans
Am I the only person in the world that feels Reggie Bush is terribly overrated? He's behind an amazing USC line, he's kinda small. I simply don't see him being a great NFL product, but who knows!

Re: Houston Texans
I think he's gonna be a very good back. He's small, but he runs pretty strong, he looks like he's at a different speed than everyone and he's pretty shifty. I love watching him at USC, I hope he ends up somewhere that he can be great.

Re: Houston Texans
He's 200lbs and he probably has some room for some extra weight without sacrificing his speed and quickness. He's lightening in a bottle, I can't wait to see what he does in the pros.

Re: Houston Texans
Seriously anyone questioning his potential hasn't seen him enough. I am usually not someone to gush over a player but Bush is THE REAL DEAL. Bush is the best back to come out college since Barry hands down. It is not even close. He could make LT look like some second stringer.
He does everything great. He can catch, make cuts, hell he even seems to block decently for a featured college back. And he does all this faster than anyone on the field. He is amazing. I wish we had first pick in the draft because we could a hell of a lot for him or CP. |

Re: Houston Texans
If the Texans were smart they would draft Matt Leinhart. He is a pro already, and there is no way that he won't be as good or better than Carson Palmer. I would rather have a great quarterback and Domanick Davis than a great RB and the Fresno Kid.
Or they could trade down to 3 and get D'Brickashaw Ferguson, they really need help on the line. |
